GameZone
I have to tell you that this game is one of those games, which makes you glad you decided to become gamer decades ago.

There are problems that can and should be addressed, but the gameplay has no equal.
Electric Playground
Aside from the so-so visuals, High Heat Baseball is the coolest baseball game on the market. If you are looking for life-like action and real baseball strategy, this is the title for you.

The new features/graphics only ehnance what was already the best baseball game ever. [June 2001, p.64]
Game Over Online
Its far from perfect but High Heat Baseball 2002 is as good as it gets for now.

A game that has so seriously squashed the competition that it's almost laughable.

If they fix most of what's wrong above, I'd estimate the actual Overall score would increase to somewhere in the 94-97 range. The game is THAT good and, unfortunately, THAT buggy.

Some aspects of the game will really impress you; others will make you want to throw your monitor out the window.

The graphics are mostly on par with this year's "Triple Play" entry, but some of the gameplay and animation feels a bit behind the venerable EA title.

Despite the bugs, this is a great baseball game boasting more than enough improvements to keep you from going back to High Heat 2001.
The bugs are inexcusable, but when it comes to baseball, there just isn't any other game that comes remotely close to being this deep and endlessly replayable.

Its graphics and challenging gameplay make it more fun to be on the field than reading box scores.

Micah T. gave it a 10:
This is clearly the best baseball game on the market. It's full minor league system is the only of it's kind.
Justin S. gave it a 6:
The game is great but everytime I play for like an hour it will just turn off, and I won't be able to continue that season, but I can start another season and it will work, and then the same thing will happen again and again. It can't be the computer because all of the other games work. Do you have any suggestions???
Edward V. gave it a 9:
It is just one notch away from being perfect. One could only want more of it if the bugs could be smoothed out. Instead of adding so many new features, whatever bugs a game contains should be perfected. Only add one new perfectly tested feature to a game would make people come back repeatedly year after year. Istead 3do is turning people off with their poor integrity. Very unprofessional. However, thank you for the best game I have ever played 3do!!
Eric L. gave it a 10:
This clearly is the greatest game on Earth!!
Zack R. gave it a 9:
I've always dreamed about a baseball game that has minor league systems. I thought that dream would never come true, but it did. This is the most advanced Franchise (Career) unit I've ever seen in a game. I love it. But I didn't give it a 10 because the graphics aren't nearly as good as any of the other Baseball games for PC.
Bob J. gave it a 7:
Great game but it always kicks me off, and the people that talk get messed up you can understand them.
