Kohan is the slickest, most polished, and the most entertaining fantasy strategy game to come along in a very long time.

This is a great game for those who tire of the endless tank-rushes of real-time strategy games past. Victory is determined not by the speed of the clicks, but rather the strength of decisions.

It does a fantastic job stripping away the boring, monotonous aspects of most RTS games and manages to focus almost solely on the fun stuff.

Its fresh approach and excellent implementation give us high hopes that TimeGate will continue surprising us with future titles.

It may not be the best game on the market in either the civilization or strategic warfare genre, but it is a terrific combination of both.
The game is in fact in real time, but as you have absolute control of game speed, you can slow it down sufficiently for it to be considered to be turn-based. Hence, this game presents the ideal combination for fans of both types of strategies.

One of the most innovative real-time strategy games we have come across in recent years, reinvigorating the genre with features more usually found in turn-based titles.

All the elements of Kohan add up to the most fun Ive had with a real-time strategy release -- with the least amount of micromanagement.
