With solid gameplay and a great presentation, Kung Fu Panda is easy to recommend to fans of the movie or parents looking to entertain their kids with a robust yet accessible action platformer.

Given its high production values, fun factor, and $19.99 price tag, KFP is easily a worthy addition to an action-gamer’s collection.

Kung Fu Panda for the PC is my choice for the button mashing fun as Po the Panda but I am a PC gamer at heart and am quite used to the mouse and keyboard control scheme.

Fat, funny animated movie hero and a computer game license - a combination that spells disaster. Not this time though. It's one of the best movie games, on par with Cars, joining the ironic humor with enthralling (if easy) fights. [Aug 2008]
IGN
Kung Fu Panda is a brief romp, but one that will keep young gamers interested from start to finish. Heck, maybe they’ll even play through it a second or third time. Just remember, the title won’t do much for anybody that would consider themselves a regular gamer.

For a movie tie-in, Kung Fu Panda really isn’t bad. Consider me astonished.

Pretend you’re buying it for your kid brother, or spare your blushes and order online because there is a surprising amount of fun to be had in loading this chubby bad boy up and thrashing the hell out of pigs with sticks for an hour or two. [Sept 2008, p.61]
Cynamite
Kung Fu Panda is not really hard to play, but it is a perfect game for your leisure time. Especially younger gamers will be happy with it.

I've played a couple other versions of the game, and I know it can be quite fun. The keyboard controls for this one was supremely disappointing to me, but the 360-like controllers did help this issue.

Combine the inability to skip cut scenes with a checkpoint save system, and you have the straw that broke the panda's back. [Oct 2008, p.67]
Gaming Nexus
Kung Fu Panda is a surprisingly good movie game that is marred by awkward PC controls.
