Armchair Empire
What makes Le Mans so fun to play is the simplicity of the racing experience. This will no doubt cause the game to lose favour from serious racing sim fans, but I found the level of difficulty perfect.

This game isn't flashy, no stellar graphics to oooooh and aaaaah over, no damage (which would have made the game much more realistic), and sounds that could use some work...BUT, it is a good racing game with a strong and reliable game engine that works very well and makes up for the other short comings.
