PC Gamer UK
Crucially, MotoGP 08 translates the speed and thrill of the sport to your PC, which "SBK08" comprehensively failed to do. [Christmas 2008, p.98]
PC Format
One of the main areas in which MotoGP '08 impresses is its extensive career mode. [Christmas 2008, p.99]
PC Zone UK
It can be good fun when you've got the hang of things. [Feb 2009, p.81]
Play (Poland)
This edition of the classic motorcycle simulator concentrates on the championship competition to the detriment of the general populace who just want to have fun. Well, there's plenty of fun in there, but it comes as a reward for just a bit of commitment. [Dec 2008]
GameSpot
MotoGP 08 is meat-and-potatoes racing with enough challenge to keep two-wheeled gearheads busy for weeks.

An uneven effort, MotoGP '08 is a decent game that should please most newbies and occasional riders but proves that Milestone has a ways to go before it fully grasps the handlebars.

An inauspicious beginning for Capcom's new motorbike series that has little to offer even committed fans.

New tracks, new drivers, updated statistics even in weaker cubages…finally! On the other side the racing is all the same. [Dec 2008]
IGN
MotoGP 08 delivers a basic motorcycle racing experience and little else. If you crave customization, tight controls, or dynamic crowds and tracks, stick with a previous MotoGP game.
