A management nut’s dream. It doesn’t have quite all the depth options of Worldwide Soccer Manager 2006 (better known as "Football Manager 2006"), but the number of options and the veracity of the simulation are staggering compared to anything that EA or 2K Games have come out with.

The massive database of over 32,000 players & staff and also over 3,000 teams is not something that can be sniffed at. And it is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the game so as not to disappoint the legions of loyal Ice Hockey fans.

To all intents and purposes, this game is identical to "Football Manager." The difference is while Brits understand the beautiful game, we haven't a clue about ice hockey. [Aug 2005, p.95]
