Summary
Ninja Blade is an action adventure game set within modern day Tokyo. Parasites known as alpha-worms have mysteriously appeared, unleashing a wave of human destruction as they rapidly spread east, reaching the shores of Tokyo. With the future of humankind hanging in the balance, an exclusive and elite team possessing highly specialized skills is formed to eliminate the enemy onslaught, and ultimately save mankind from complete obliteration. Unique ninja abilities: Use your Ninja Vision to detect and analyze potential enemy weak points, secret paths, and hidden information within the environment, but be careful, as you are susceptible to extra damage while using your vision. And perform the todomé attack to destroy an enemy's core (heart), by dealing a fatal wound. Balanced and calculated use of both these abilities will be critical to progressing through the game. Variety of weapons, tools, and Ninjutsu: Specialized ninja powers offer an enticing array of options.

Ninja Blade has no right to be as entertaining as it is. It's nowhere near as accomplished as the genre's heavyweights, but anyone able to see it as the roller-coaster ride it is should have a great time.

Even if the Xbox 360 version of the game is quite old, the game will entertain you for some hours. The graphics are okay and the story surprises from time to time. There is one thing you should know: The best way to control the game is to use a gamepad.

Forget logic or the laws of physics, you won’t need them in this game. It’s an absurd action feast where you play a super ninja called Ken Ogawa. The only problem with this game are frequent crashes which are annoying because you the game is only saved after completing a mission

Some technical troubles notwithstanding, this derivative action game is a bunch of silly, stylish fun.

Good action game with a lot of cinematic-gameplay through Quick Time Event system. Poor variety and not so stylish graphics doesn't allow the title to reach other action games. Ninja Balde is just for truly cinematic action fun.

Frequent boss fights, excellent cinematics and great animation keep you glued to the screen for the first thirty minutes. Alas, oversized bugs which use the same attacks over and over, tiresome QTE sequences, useless combos and weapon upgrades will get under your skin.

The technical flaws and the sensation that it’s a pc-port clearly define the feel of the game. And it’s not a good feeling. It feels like this game is worth its place in the budget line of the X360, but not as a pc-game, at least not like this. Luckily, you won’t be charged full price for this game, giving it a better price-quality balance. In some areas, the game tries to compete with the best of the genre, and that makes you see the imperfections even more. The best part is found in the game’s extravagance and its specific style, but not everyone will love it.

Don’t look for any inventiveness here just enjoy the fastest Tokyo ride on the wings of this exaggerated adrenaline action game where gravity and other laws of physics take a vacation. [Issue#187]
Boomtown
If you like deeper, thoughtful fighting then skulk on by, like a shadow in the night.

Nickolai P. gave it an8:
Fairly nice, if you ask me. Fast action, nice cinematics and fun combinations of attacks, though the game tempts to get a little the same along the road...... Once you got a special type of boss down once, its no big deal if another one comes of the same type.. (Which it will, without saying to much) I Recommend the game for a fun experience and i would have wished for a longer game, with perhaps a MP mode.
Daniel P gave it an8:
Dont play it if you are looking for spohisticated plot or innovative combat system, but if you are looking for a nice piece of action and a lot of cool QTE go ahead.
Freddy K gave it a0:
I refuse converting console games to PC without any changes. This game is really the worst game I've ever played... But nice idea...
