Game Chronicles
The enhancements to the single player game are certainly a huge improvement and the multiplayer modes are reasonably fun although you might have trouble finding other people to play with or against.

A game that should be reviled and admired at the same time. I kept wanting to despise the game but found myself playing it more and more.

Without a linear storyline to back it up, Share the Pain brings a limited amount of its humor to the multiplayer world.

If you can manage to recognize its underlying tongue-in-cheek nature, Postal 2: Share the Pain can become much more fun to play and maybe even, dare we say, enjoy – at least for a time.

The result isn't going to convince anyone who took Postal 2 the wrong way to give it a second chance, but it's a better game now than before, and those looking for some seriously lowbrow humor in first-person shooter form would likely get a kick out of it.

As an FPS it's fun for a while with some entertaining quirks here and there but not enough to keep you interested all the way through.

The multiplayer gameplay is just as half-baked on a gameplay level as the single-player, making Share the Pain good for some temporary novelty diversion, but not much more. If you were truly a fan of Postal 2, then you'll probably get a kick out of this.

If you see a copy in a bargain bin someplace for less than $10 and you like FPS games, you might want to give it a try. Just watch out for those sadistic rednecks and their gimp suit.
The online multiplayer runs pretty smooth and the maps are very well designed, although not overwhelmingly eye-catching. Each level is also liberally littered with weapons and ammo so that you’re never at a loss for something to kill people with.

Once you get past the uber-violent novelty of killing innocent civilians with everything from Molotov cocktails to weapons of mass destruction, you'll find the gameplay rather repetitive and shallow.

Z D gave it a10:
Greatest game ever! I can't wait for Postal 3, which I read is in development as of Feb 08, as well as a Postal movie coming up. Single player is sickeningly entertaining, and the multiplayer is phenomenal. Best LAN party game ever. Ratings obviously bad because of the intense violence and bad taste. Get your noses out of the air critics and come down to earth with the rest of us regular people.

Everyone loves violence, no matter if they reject it. This game provides a good way to reduce the fury and other shit. I won't recommend this game for small kids, though. Overall: Gift for sadistic people, teaser for "jesus" people.
