Drowning in bonus content. Not only is it worth the admission price, but it's really a must-buy for RCT 3 owners. [Sept 2005, p.71]
Gamers' Temple
All RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 fans will certainly love getting "Soaked!"

Not only did they add a bunch of new content, rides, scenery, and events, but they even added completely new features (like the tunnels, elevators, laser shows, etc.)

A nice addition to the franchise. Creating water parks is easy and fun, though I would have liked a few more options for decor.
Read Full Review >Game Over Online
A very nice expansion pack for a very mediocre game. The additions are numerous and well designed, and they give you a lot of new options while playing the game, but they don’t really change how the game is played.

A wet and wild expansion pack. Fans of the original will be inspired. [GamesMaster]

Not only does Soaked! include all the latest updates to clean up the gameplay, but it also tosses in a ton of new content that's beautiful to behold.

Soaked will give you countless hours of fun as long as you take the time to learn how to properly play all of the modes.

It adds a wealth of new content to the game, not just around the water theme but in other areas as well. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 feels more complete and polished with the expansion.

One of the nicer new features are challenges, mini-goals within an existing scenario that you can choose to do if you'd like.

Watery additions aside, the rest of the game is pretty much business as usual. The parks need cleaners and repairmen to keep the rides running, and the punters need well-placed ATMs and stalls to shop at.

The rides are also animated very well, but the best of the graphical action has to be reserved for the ‘Coaster Cam’, being able to view all the new water rides in the park in first person just adds that little bit more to an already decent experience.

As exciting as a glass of water, but a whole bathtub more depth. [Sept 2005, p.95]
Sydney Morning Herald
Owners of the latest tycoon title can expect a wealth of fresh features from this timely expansion pack.

The interactivity is a joy, and the amount of content included in this expansion is amazing.

Delivers some nice little twists on the theme park genre and is worth picking up if you're a fan of the series.

It does an excellent job of expanding RCT3 - not only are there the nine new scenarios, but you can also use many of the new features in the existing scenarios, which is a nice touch.

All these new visuals may not change or improve RCT3, but they certainly take it further. [Sept 2005, p.56]
Pelaaja (Finland)
Soaked! is very typical, but also a bit more expansive expansion than these things usually end up being. The original is already a good game, so more variety is always welcome. Soaked! even manages to improve the basic gameplay of the original, which not many expansions manage to do. [August 2005, p.77]
Game Chronicles
A must-own expansion for tycoon-style gamers, especially if you bought RCT3. It improves the original game enough that you will love the changes, without having to fight the whole new learning curve of the menus again.
It doesn't pollute the entire RCT experience, but it certainly doesn't add any content you're eager to drink in. [Aug 2005, p.105]
Eurogamer
The already fairly hefty system demands can be stretched even further by some of the water refraction effects, requiring some option-fiddling to get a playable game.

It still looks great, it’s still dripping with detail, and there are now even more rides to create and things to do. However, it still plays like it’s a piece of modding software, and not everyone’s going to enjoy it as a result.

Water looks amazing. If this is what the results are with DX9 then i can't wait to see how this will look with DX10.
Bill S. gave it a10:
This game is a masterpiece. It has all the elements you'll ever want.
Phillip B. gave it a9:
It's a great game! I have have RCT3 and loved it so I had to buy the expansion pack. It really makes the gameplay more enjoyable. With all the new features including waterfalls it's a must have. One thing I found useful was the ability to scroll through the menu. It makes it so much easier! The water is so realilistic and makes a big splash! The only reason I'm not giving it a ten out of ten is because some times it can get confusing if you're not used to RCT. Overall a great must have game for the RCT series.
Sean B. gave it a10:

J Moran gave it a10:
The swimming pools are sooo cool. The water looks so real.
