GamePro
With its high production value, smart level design, and impressive story, STVEF is simply one of the finest first-person shooters to come out this year.

A romp to remember and a multiplayer taste to acquire and savour.

A masterpiece of story telling and electronic enjoyment, rolled together in one tight package of pure gaming delight.
PC Gamer
The best Star Trek game ever, and a first-rate FPS in its own right. [Dec 2000, p.138]
GameSpy
Definitely one of the best FPS to come out this year, and certainly is one of the best Star Trek games ever.

It represents the first perfect translation of another medium, be it film, television or another form of entertainment, to a computer game.

Couple this awesome visual presentation with a solid game engine and then couple that with a painstakingly faithful Voyager plot and youve simply got one of the best Star Trek action/adventure games youre ever going to come across.

As a fast-paced and intense gameplay title, it is appealing to those who have no idea what Star Trek Voyager is.

Action gamers rejoice! A straightforward action shooter that produces both a strong single player and online multiplayer experience.

There was enough original action and story line to keep me playing right to the end and wanting more missions.

Even provides an excellent FPS experience for those who may not wear their pointy rubber ears to bed at night like we do.
Antagonist
The most important thing, though, is that Raven seems to have actually made the world of Star Trek: Voyager -- dare I say it? -- fun; an impressive task in and of itself.
GameSpot
It's undoubtedly one of the best Star Trek games to date, and its only rival in its genre so far this year is, unsurprisingly, Raven's own shooter, "Soldier of Fortune."

Multiplayer play is uninspired, but still entertaining because while the traditional multiplayer elements are lacking, the fact remains that you're playing in a creative universe, with characters you're familiar with and with "authentic" weapons and settings that come straight out of the television show.

Beam this one down using the tractor phaser from your local space mart. Or something.

Overall, Elite Force screams quality gaming, though perhaps a little short of quantity.

Elite Force is faithfully to the series, loaded with action, and is a lot of fun to play.

The game's replay value is bolstered by its multiplayer modes, where you can select from the entire cast of the Voyager crew and battle online.

The levels are well designed, and the game's weapons are damn cool and pack a real punch.
CheckOut
The varied mission types, scripted events and engrossing storyline made it great fun to play, an "experience" more than just a game.
FiringSquad
The levels started off to a great start, but tapered off way too quickly in a way that was just disappointing. They had a great story going for them, but some more length and detail would have gone a long way for them.

An exceptionally enjoyable first person shooter and should not be discounted on the basis of its length. If you fancy a new first person adventure and already own "Deus Ex," this is the game to buy.
Story, attention to detail, stunning visuals and exceptional character AI makes a standard shooting fare, compelling and enjoyable.
Happy Puppy
The main reason Elite Force works so well is that it combines not simply the Voyager license with the "Quake III" engine, but merges a well-written story with an incredibly solid first-person shooter.

Live Long And Mulroneycakes gave it a 10:
Finally, a good - a great - Star Trek game. Based on a good -but not great - Star Trek series (no, really, it was good. Oh yeah? Right, you and me, outside, NOW!)
Robin B. gave it an 8:
Once you start playing it's hard to stop. The storyline is so realistic and you really start to feel as if you were a member of the Voyager team.
