Activision's simple and straightforward add-on pack for 2000's wildly popular Trek shooter may be a little lean on the single-player experience, though 5 new multi-player modes and the ability to explore all 10 levels of the U.S.S. Voyager could make a Trekkie's day.

PUBLISHER: Activision
DEVELOPER: Raven
GENRE(S): Action

ESRB RATING: T (Teen)

If you're a Voyager nut drooling at the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny of the ship...or are an Elite Force multiplayer junkie looking for some variety, then this Expansion Pack is exactly what you're looking for.

Gamezilla!
I can't figure out what made them decide to connect such a mediocre feature as the Virtual Voyager with such a strong game as "Elite Force."

Feels and plays like a rushed money grab - Raven is better than this and should have walked away.

If you found the original game lacking, this add-on isn't going to change your mind.

An alarm should go off when you read the subtitle of the expansion pack, which is simply, "Expansion Pack." There are no bells, no whistles, and no sunroof.

IGN
The crowd of you out there that bought the original because it was a great shooter that also took place in the Star Trek universe are going to be disappointed, and overall, all of you are going to be disappointed in the lack of the stuff that made the original so great.

"Single player" in this expansion pack absolutely reeks.

Game Revolution
Decidedly shoots itself when the only missions you do get don't matter at all because they're just a great deal of light and sound within a larger context of light and sound, and that is just one too many levels of abstraction to be fun.

Rugbymongrel gave it a3:
This is NOT a First Person Shooter and bears little resemblance to the original game. For the die-hard trekkie it will provide significant entertainment allowing them to explore the ship in great detail going into cabins and exploring levels. For everyone else stay away it isn't worth the money unless you are a die hard Star Trek fan. Accordingly I have given it a 3 since it does not present you with a storyline or plot indeed it bears very little resemblance to the original title whatsoever!

Marty S. gave it a 10:
So SWEET!

Chris B. gave it a 10:
I don't see why they are calling this add-on, it's great. And really does the name of Expansion Pack change the gameplay?

Elite Force gave it a 10:
Its fantasic to explore Voyager in Virtual Voyager mode. One of the things I was waiting for. Too bad there isn't any more single player adventures.
