Entertainment Weekly
It's the only place you'll see Trade Federation turncoats get slaughtered by Chewbacca's cousins. [19 July 2002, p.77]
All Game Guide
The many changes, both minor and major, will be a welcome addition to those who purchased the original, and for gamers who didn't, now's the time to get both.

Those who enjoyed Galactic Battlegrounds will find this expansion pack an essential purchase, not only does it have new material, the modifications balance the game and improve upon it.

If you enjoyed the original missions and you're striving for more, you'll enjoy what this expansion pack offers.

The Age of Empires/Star Wars mix doesn't seem as fresh the second time around.

Clone Campaigns replay factor is VERY high in this due to the improved scenario editor which, if youre a campaign creator or map maker, you will find the tools and objects in here are now a Battlegrounds fan dream.

A solid expansion pack with numerous enhancements and an unlimited amount of pure fun.

It doesnt really feel like an expansion pack. It feels more like a library of useful things for modders and scenario designers to play with.

The ability to control 250 in an army is almost too many; of course that is what makes it great-the ability to have gigantic battles that truly bring out the galactic conflict that is underway.

It's a lot of fun. [August 2002, p.72]
Armchair Empire
If youre a fan of the original game, snatch it up because it adds lots more to Galactic Battlegrounds (including some user-made maps) and should bring you hours of gaming. (Trust me.)

Clone Campaigns has a unique spark thanks to the inventive mission concepts and plot.

A solid offering and will give the fans their basic nutritional requirement of strategy and Star Wars, although it's not what you'd call innovative.

As it should be with an add-on pack, most are expert-level missions, but at least they start you out slowly. [August 2002, p.78]
GameSpot
Unfortunately, there's not much here that stands out, making this feel more like a series of tweaks than what we've come to expect from a fully featured expansion.

The missions seem more like replicants from other games, including the original Galactic Battlegrounds, Age of Empires, and just about every other RTS clone on the market.

The single note that rings true is the superb sound work, from the voice acting of dead ringers for Christopher Lee and Samuel Jackson to the cyclopean rumbles of heavy Republic artillery rolling into position. [Sept 2002, p.83]

Adds more pulse to the Galactic Battlegrounds game. Whoever doesn't like it sucks too much and really doesn't understand Star Wars.
