Humanity sits on the brink of extinction. The inevitable battle between man and machine has begun. War ravages the land as hardened Tech-Com fighters defend John Connor and others against the mechanized onslaught of the CRS force. This epic cinematic conflict, recreated from the phenomenal Terminator films, places first-person shooter fans at the very center of the uprising. Throughout high-powered multiplayer and single-player missions, combatants fight in apocalyptic landscapes - a decimated downtown Los Angeles, a battered ocean harbor, devastated highways - struggling for survival. Only the strongest will avert catastrophe and save human existence. [Atari]

A sim of Arnie’s election campaign would be more entertaining.

GameSpy
With an inaccessible multiplayer and a deeply flawed single-player game, there's just not much to like in Terminator 3: War of the Machines. It's a game that feels incomplete and practically abandoned by its publisher.

Oh yeah, Terminator 3: War of the Machines also has vehicles! Too bad they suck. [Apr 2004, p.84]

PC Gamer
Playing alone with bots is unbearable - the AI players run into walls and can't aim for squat. [Apr 2004, p.74]

GameSpot
As a team-based shooter with vehicles, the game strives to recapture the magic of "Battlefield 1942" in a sci-fi setting but fails miserably.

If just one copy of Terminator 3 gets bought anywhere in the world, then I have failed as both a game reviewer and a member of the human race...Hollow lifeless dreck.

The Man gave it a6:
This game is suprisingly stable. Gets boring pretty fast, doesn't look very nice, but it's flaws are more conceptual than proceedural. The server browser isn't work jack, but BF2's isn't either.

Allan H. gave it a10:
Loved the terminators there vission wasnt to bad loved the guns its like its realy happening its my favorite game ever i realy liked the canyon i always went as skynet in the canyon then went to the mountains, hided then fired.

Corey C. gave it a 10:
I think its pretty good and cool under ground tunnels and hk airstrikes and getting into tricky places r pretty good.

Tyson W. gave it a 9:
I love this game totaly worth buying.

Alon G. gave it a 10:
This game has an awesome online playing mode it's just like tribes 2 no missions just play with real people or practice by yourself and you can create your own servers.

Daxim gave it a 2:
Very disappointing if they didn't rush making this game it would of been enjoyable the single player mode sucks bad the bot AI is rubbish they are dumb. The graphics well i guess its nothing compared to todays games graphics. sky net have that red vision thing which makes it hard to see but there is an option to turn it off. I wouldn't recommend this game unless u have broadband or higher. In the netplay the game is better than single player but there is no admin for your server so u can't kick high pinger u can't change map bla bla bla. Don't buy this game unless ur a TerminaTor Freak.

Raul J. gave it a 10:
If you really want realistic graphics, I recommend buying Ati Readeon 9800 pro graphics card.
