Cheat Code Central
Should be seen as the greatest game in a long line of excellent golf titles. This game is the culmination of six years of genre dominance. The new team game modes are fresh and fun, while the structure of the Team Tour is a perfect blend of team management and in-game strategy.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is the greatest Tiger yet, but it's starting to feel like season five of The Sopranos. It's still the greatest show on TV, but it's starting to feel a bit stale.
Given that fact, however, this game largely remains the same as it ever was--due to the consistency of the gameplay from last year. But because that the tour has adopted the new FedEx Cup system, your career can't help but feel a little different. [Nov. 2006, p.128]
Games Radar (in-house)
Though Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 doesn't offer anything approaching a revolution in golfing, whether you play your way to the ranked online leaderboards, or just hammer it out with a buddy on the same system, it's truly a pleasure from start to finish.

There's very little that's truly new in Tiger Woods 07, but it's still a good game.

The best thing about this one is that for about the price of a round of golf you will get great golfing at some pretty nice courses all year long. Still not a bad deal in my book.

While Tiger 07 is as good as ever, it's also the same as ever, making it hard to recommend, despite its manifold pleasures. [Nov 2006, p.90]
PC Format
It's a good golf game, admittedly, but it's also unnecessarily ugly. [Dec 2006, p.108]
VideoGamer
The recently released "ProStroke Golf" demonstrated how a more advanced control system can work on consoles, and playing Tiger Woods 07 does feel like a slight step back. At the same time, the controls have a simplicity to them that makes the game easy to play, and there is level of depth to the control and shot choice for the more serious players.

A lacklustre affair that we've seen many times before. [Dec 2006, p.85]
PC Gameworld
This game gets a low rating because it is basically the same game as last year. To top it all off, there is less content in the PC version than the other versions.

Until things change, this series is treading water, and it's a tough sell at $40. [Jan. 2007, p.53]

Toobit gave it a5:
This version is no better than the last, is uninspired, and is falling behind the times in technology.
K Dep gave it a0:
Zero for effort. This game is an absolute clone of TW2006. No improvments whatsoever. One or two tiny add-ons, but nothing that even remotely makes the game more than a $5 expansion pack. Don't waste your money.
David O. gave it a7:
Sure, buy this game ONLY if you have no recent "TW" title in your library. Because-it's-almost-the-same-game. The dated engine alone is the p*ss poorest demonstration yet of the "we didn't need to bother" attitude from a major publisher. The most convincing argument in PC gaming, that if their ain't no competition, there ain't no reason to improve. Ironic really, that the guy on the cover still has the wizardry and competitive edge to remain at the top, in what is argueably the most difficult of all games to master.
Don M. gave it a1:
EA Sports It's Cloned Again Don't waste your money on a game that is Tiger 06 rebadged. Risk Meter? WOW! Graphics are exactly the same as last year, what a let down.
