Armchair Empire
But with a strong story (a hallmark of all three episodes) a refreshing setting change to the carnival grounds, and a starring role for Gromit, a few stumbles (especially at the end of the game) aren’t enough to trip up Muzzled! as the best of the three episodes yet.

A grand adventure, indeed. The humor is spot on, the new characters and locations are entertaining, and it's obvious that Telltale has really found the niche into which Wallace and Gromit's story fits.

It is by far the most entertaining, thought-provoking, and possibly the longest game in the series. Fans of the show are in for an especially grand adventure.

The writing is quite funny and Wallace's nervously polite disposition is out in full force upon the realization that Monty Muzzle is not the philanthropist he appears to be. And the twist ending sets up what I hope will be a very uncomfortable situation for the hapless inventor in the upcoming finale of the series.

While the game is nearly the same length as the first two episodes—between 2 ½ and 3 hours for me—it feels like a more fulfilling experience thanks to the stronger storyline and better integrated puzzles.

It's by far the closest the series has got to nailing the spirit of the original animations. [Oct 2009, p.84]
GameZone
Anyone who enjoys humorous adventure games on the line of Sam & Max will definitely enjoy Wallace & Gromit Muzzled.

This time there is only a main character: Gromit and this third episode is surely the best of the series. Finally we can see a new area and finally the puzzles are tough and funny. Now the only thing we can do is to suggest the entire package and get ready for the grand finale.

Just as the previous episodes, Muzzled is a very good adaptation of Aardmans animated series. Telltale Games manages to capture the feeling of Wallace & Gromit perfectly, both in graphics and audio.

Those who simply buy Muzzled! on its own will be content with a quick and enjoyable adventure title. For everyone else who paid for all four episodes will feel that this is certainly the weakest one of the bunch.

Short and simple, but Muzzled is ever so sweet while it lasts. [Issue#23, p.58]
LEVEL (Czech Republic)
Great improvement to the previous chapter but the first episode is still unbeaten. Great new playable character (only one again – sic!), lots of fun from the beginning to the end. [July 2009]
GameStar
As always, Telltale Games manages to capture the atmosphere of the movies, but the story of The Muzzle feels artificial and could use a twist every now and then. There are also some camera problems towards the end. But if you like Wallace & Gromit, go and get it.

Muzzled! isn't as laugh-out-loud funny as the previous episodes. [Oct 2009, p.73]
Gamers' Temple
To put it bluntly, the puzzles are bad and the game has little to no pacing.
