Project Titan doesn't deliver in the graphics department at all, in fact, it's as ugly as a wart, but the gameplay is solid as a rock and it's a blast to play, over and over again.

If youre sick of waiting for "Time Crisis II"s release on the PS2 later this year, Project Titan will more than tide you over.

It pretty much amounts to an add-on level pack, so youd have to be ultra-hardcore about Time Crisis to spring for your own copy.

The finest gunplay action seen on the Playstation since the original.
PSX Nation
A decent light gun shooter that's much too similar to its dated predecessors (the original "Time Crisis", "Virtua Cop 1 & 2", etc.) to be worth more than a rental.

It doesn't grab and hold you like the first one did, nor is there a two-player option like in Time Crisis II, but it has just enough to keep it interesting.

For some ridiculous reason, you use a six-hot REVOLVER as your only weapon.

The main problem with the gameplay, as it was with the first, is that there's no real reward for shooting well. As long as you duck at the right time you can hit a very low percentage of your shots and still finish the game.

Hard-core "Time Crisis" fans and those just looking for a good gun game would do well to pick up this game, but the antiquated presentation, lack of options, and brutal continue system will make this at best a rental for most.

It's merely competent in my humble opinion. [June 2003, p.104]
Core Magazine
Offers precious little new to the series, and is sorely lacking in inspiration. Namco has released a derivative knock-off of its own series.

Caroline A. gave it an 8:
With a good storyline and good set ups time crisis:project titan does deliver a good shoot em up for the time crisis fan base. Even though I love evry time crisis game, this one to me was quite basic considering it should have been an improvement on the first which it wasb't. It does not compete with the other games in the time crisis line but should not be overlooked because of it. Buy n play and you will be gurantee to luv it!
Ryan B. gave it a 9:
Sure, the graphics aren't that impressive, but for the playstation it's as good as they could do. However, the gameplay is incredible and if you like arcade shooters it's just as good at home...and cheaper.
Silas O. gave it a 7:
It's a good shooter but the graphics are not that good and the sound sucks.
Paco V. gave it a 9:
This game has the best shoot'em up style gameplay I have seen but the calibration makes it a little weak.
Silas O. gave it a 7:
It's a good shooter, but the graphics are not that good and the sound sucks.
