Summary

Based on the hit animated television series, the game takes players on a voyage into the past to embark on an adventure to save the world from total destruction! The story unfolds in ancient Egypt; where mystery and magic abound. As an evil High-Priest sets his sights on destroying the kingdom, it is only the young pharaoh, an ancestor of Yugi, who can unlock the mysteries of the Seven Magical Totems and save his land. Players must duel with the townspeople to collect cards, decipher clues and solve puzzles in an effort to become the greatest Duel Master of them all! [Konami]

Thunderbolt

Modern TCG fans will probably either love it for being simple and different, or hate it for being old and unlike the current game.

Daunting difficulty and narrow appeal...There are teeth of mine I'd pull with a pair of pliers rather than play this card game ever again.

If you're not already a master, skip this game and try your luck with the real cards first.

I would ultimately recommend this for either someone who has played the card game before or someone who has a lot of time to go through and write down or memorize the card combos and fusion results, since everything is trial and error.

An incredibly deep game, and being able to play with all the physical cards you own makes this game the ideal companion piece for avid collectors who want to see their cards duke it out in 3D.

[Anonymous] gave it an8:
8 because you need to play good people in the beginning then later you have to play meadow mage like 200-300 times to get MBD and other good cards, the graphics are okay for a ps1 game, the storyline is exicting, you do get to move around a little, and theres a little RPG.

Jeroen V. gave it a10:
This game is very good. I play it every day and I am trying to get 999,999 starchips. If you have patience and play it very often, it may be possible to get the magic amount in 2 or 3 years. And if you have 3 memorie cards you can get every card. It sure deserves a 10!
