PSM2 Magazine UK
Any RPG nut worth their mithril shirt would be salivating at the prospect of anything DQ-related, but this is relentless dungeon crawling for only the very hardy. [JPN Import; Aug 2006, p.74]
Play Magazine
The promise of new tunes, nice cut-scenes, and a Pokemon-esque system of catching and combining monsters may be enough to keep you engaged with Yangus's quest for a day or two, but it isn't enough to make up for the primitive mechanics at its core. [JPN Import; Aug 2006, p.81]
