As for the new and imaginative innovations that we now expect from every EyeToy game, they're just not here.

Pelit (Finland)

Offers plenty of variety including army drills, beauty treatments and ghost busting. Still, the game lacks in depth and is quite forgettable once the novelty factor wears off. [Jan 2006]

It really is just more of the same, and we don't like playing games that are feel familiar when they quickly become tiresome.

New ideas needed next time please. [Dec 2005, p.118]

Play 3 is sadly little more than a humdrum selection of shallow mini-games that make you feel like you’re going through the motions when playing them.

While it is fun, although not magnificently so, in its own right, it fails to offer a convincing reason to buy it over the many other fine EyeToy outings that have gone before.

Overall, Eyetoy: Play 3 gets credit for the multiplayer mayhem and attempts at innovation, but it lets itself down with the inclusion of some quite weak games in amongst the better ones.

Jack S. gave it a2:
eyetoy play 3 is a good game if you are playing with other people. if you play with it on your own it can get very boring, very fast. the playroom is not nearly as good as the one in the original eyetoy. on the game there are supposed to be over 50 minigames... i can only find 9 games. i think they ment to say that it has more than 50 levels. there is also a very annoying robot that tells you what to do. that robot realy gets on my nurves. the game is one of the worst games i have ever bought. i have only had the game for the last 3 hours and i am sick of it allready. i would advise people not to by this game. if you want be get an eyetoy game go for eyetoy play 1 or 2.

Ian B. gave it a10:
The kids loved it, especially the Boot Camp assault courses...the music is hilariously brilliant!

Ruud H. gave it a9:
Just great. Much better than part 1 and 2. The kids are exhausted after 2 hours of play !
