Yes, a little innovation scattered here and there would be great and maybe a few more difficult aspects thrown in for older fans of the show, would have been appreciated, but this game does so much right, that its hard to complain too much. Fans of the show or parents of fans of the show will certainly enjoy this homage to the FOP.

Fans of the show will dig the humor and graphics. [Jan 2005, p.105]

It just doesnt do anything particularly interesting to warrant playing through unless youre a diehard fan of the series.

If, like me, you have a couple of kids, even teens, prancing around the house go ahead and rent Fairly Odd Parents: Shadow Showdown for a weekend. Theyre sure to get a kick out of seeing familiar characters onscreen, even if only for a few minutes. For seasoned adults, the gameplay will prove to be a bit tired, yet strangely addictive.

It squeaks by with bland, tired game mechanics and graphics that just dont hold up to todays gamer.

Ryan R. gave it a7:
Controls are fine and voice is great but graphics bother me- absolutely no facial expression. Also, Wanda, Cosmo, and Timmy just don't look like themselves.
