Summary

GT Concept includes over 120 state of the art vehicles, many of which were unveiled at this year's Tokyo and Geneva motor shows. Vehicle categories include New Cars, Dream Cars, Concept Cars and Race Cars. GT Concept features five tracks; one new circuit, Tokyo R246 and four re-worked tracks from previous games in the series, including the Tahiti Maze rally circuit from GT3 and old favourite Autumn Ring from GT and GT2. Each is raced forwards as well as backwards, effectively giving you ten tracks in total. There are three main game modes: Course License (a race against the clock with an optional pace car), Free Run (a leisurely spin round the track with no restrictions or time limits) and Single Race (take on a friend or race solo on the track of your choosing). Games Radar UK (Pre-2006)

It might be just a pit stop on the GT highway but this motor show-off is a nice, if brief, diversion for petrol-heads and amateurs alike. [GamesMaster]

Whereas Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec was packed with detail and options and finely tuned gameplay, Gran Turismo Concept has had it all removed. The racing giant’s teeth have been pulled. Beyond the new concept cars there is no real bite to the game.

Decidedly easy. The game’s arcade-style has diluted its more complex factors that dragged racing fans screeching to it in the first place. And with the absence of having to learn how to drive and handle each car’s nuances, which was as important as learning the tracks of the courses, there’s an important element lost in the process – longevity.

It's got a stack of new cars, true, but that's about it - there are no new courses, still no damage and the AI still isn't very clever. On PC, this kind of upgrade would be downloadable for next to nothing. [PlayNation]

K. M. gave it a 10:
The best.

Ben Newbery gave it a 7:
It ain't as good as GT3 by a long way but if you have completed GT3 and want some more action then this is the game to get, It don't take that long to complete but in pure Grand theft auto style you become addicted to the stupidly over-powered cars which makes the game so fun you'll wanna start again on GT3 and there you go, u ain't bored no more, but before you buy make sure you have GT3 first, but that ain't compulsory. Another great note is that it's a good game if u wanna get into the world of Gran turismo but ain't ready to hak the big game yet this is a GREAT trainer too! buy it.

GT KING gave it a 10:
Wicked game u can never get board of it love it...... GT KING.

Mike S. gave it a 7:
The game graphics are great, but this game should never be compared to gt, gt2 or gt3. it is a nice break from the serious racing style of the other gt games though.

Alastair M. gave it an 8:
This game is great to play. It is challenging and very time consuming but overall very enjoyable with fabulous graphics.

Hubba J. gave it an 8:
I have GT 1, GT 2 and GT 3 so I know what to expect. I haven't played the game but I've seen the graphics and they are pretty good. They should of at least put in a few new tracks.

MC Iced Doughnut gave it an 8:
The game is easy but what do you expect? It's a little sideshow that gives you a little break from all the seriousness of other GT games. This game is not a GT4 and never even meant to be GT 3.5!!! Instead it's a great mod version of GT3. It gives you a chance to experience driving concept cars, and that's why ppl buy it.
