The Jan Hammer sound track still sounds as good as it was originally but sadly Miami Vice is well past its sell by date! Seriously we remember enjoying the Commodore64 version far more then this.

AceGamez

There's not much depth to this game; it's a basic shooter with the odd puzzle here and there, although to refer to them as puzzles is a joke.

"Sun, Sea & Crime?"....More like "Dull, Boring & Pointless".

Even as a PS2 launch title, this would have been a disgraceful excuse for a videogame.

Games Radar UK (Pre-2006)

Take the worst parts of every bad game you've ever played, mash them together and it'll probably still turn out better than Miami Vice. This is artless nonsense that should have been aborted from the off. [PSM2]

Alexandre R. gave it a4:
The game is simple, the graphs seems of Nintendo64, very poor. Really, I do not recommend this game, only for fans of the series, but if really he will be a fan goes to hate the Davilex for making dirty the name of the series. 4 because for a game of Nintendo 64 it is very good, but for one of PlayStation 2 are very bad.

CValeb F. gave it a7:
Stylish shooter with cool guns and levels. Can tire a bit but the actual game is a good shooter with class levels and music. dont spend to much if you get it but if you can get it for cheap, DO IT.

Johnny T. gave it a2:
This is just another example as to why Davilex should STOP publishing games. I feel so sorry for the poor developers they roped into making it for them. It's like Davilex loaded them in a boat, shot a hole in the side of it, then payed them to sit and sink. A warning to any Dev out there. Do NOT work with Davilex! The money is NOT good enough! (2 points for the music though).

Joe B. gave it an8:
Buy it if your not experienced at gaming or you need something gentle so you can relax while playing. It has some good moments.

Kim V. gave it a6:
I give it a six due to the soundtrack, the shooting is ok, but the graphics could have been better. Let someone else in stead of davilex make a 'miami vice' game and they could make a great game.

James H. gave it a 2:
Absolutely terrible.
