The bulk of the included 24 games are still highly addictive and hecka fun to play - especially multiplayer. [Jan 2004, p.59]

Game Over Online
You can't really play this game without thinking of the dark, sweat-filled arcades that're now long gone, or of those plastic-sheathed sitdown machines you still sometimes see in bars. Midway Arcade Treasures is like a time capsule, buried back when games were simple, and no less fun because of that.

Some of the games control so poorly that theyre unplayable, there are glitches and some lazy emulation, and the DVD content is disappointing, to say the least. That said, if youre willing to look past its faults (which is easier to do given the $20 price tag), there are some gems to be found here.

PSM Magazine
At $20, the price is right, but the final product is a bit hit-and-miss. Interface screens are terribly ugly, and the emulation is spotty. [Holiday 2003, p.46]

Not only is the interface clumsy and hard to view, but the bonus content is poorly edited and sloppily thrown together. [Dec 2003, p.83]
