Its a fantastic college football game, and as of yet, completely without a collegiate equal.

An outstanding game, with excellent gameplay and a deep set of features. Finally, the PS2 has a genuine A+ sports title.

This game is all around faster (than "Madden 2001") which makes the controls feel even tighter.

These goodies, along with the title's speed, really gave me a sense of the college game. Whether you compare it to the pros or not, it's hard to ask for more.

This game can suck you in and never let you out - and you may not want to come out. ...this is football at its best.

Its outstanding looks and stellar controls make it a heavy favorite to win the championship.

The best college football game ever made and has more replay value than you could ever hope for in a $50 purchase.

Offering a compelling mix of solid graphics and college-specific gameplay, along with the best dynasty mode to date -- NCAA Football 2002 is without competition.

NCAA Football doesnt just look good, it looks as comfortable on your television screen as an ESPN broadcast on a Saturday afternoon.

The massive number of features and solid gameplay more than make up for any of my minor gripes.

The fast gameplay, ample strategy, and gorgeous graphics make it hopelessly addicting. [Sept 2001, p.144]

Light years ahead of "GameBreaker 2001," and, for all its faults, is still a game that most PS2 owners -- myself included -- will thoroughly enjoy.

Certain gameplay issues aside, as with its NFL counterpart, NCAA Football 2002 is oozing with a variety of features and gameplay options.

The animations are so stellar, I don't know where to begin. Just about every action in the game has a well-implemented animation that will knock your helmet off.

The secondary play continues to be a sore point, and the CPU still can't run the ball effectively with the default AI settings. On the positive side, the human-controlled running game is as good if not better than "NFL2K1" on the Dreamcast.

It's one of the best sports games on the PS2, and it's definitely the best college game around.

The NFL has always been my game of choice but NCAA Football 2002 has caught my heart. It's not perfect but it's the most fun I've had with noname players in years.

An amazing game. My friend and I bought it the day it came out and haven't put it down yet. Can't wait for 2003!
Brian L. gave it a 10:
Best football game (all-around) ever made. It's replay value is tremendous. They don't even need to make a 2003. They should just put out an upgrade!
Rob F. gave it a 10:
I'm already in the third year of my dynasty, and I have to say that this is the greatest football game, college or pro, ever made.
Jeremy J. gave it a 10:
I bought a PS2 just to play this game, and it was definitely worth it.
Shaun S. gave it a 10:
Most college football games are fun, but the graphics are usually not there. Well this is a huge exception! Without a doubt the best graphics of any sports game to date. IT also has the best game play especially the dynasty mode. It is just awesome!
