You won't be getting an all-new classic here, but you'll be getting a classic nonetheless. [August 2002, p.38]
GamePro
Excellent controls deliver a highly responsive feel and a huge roster of cool moves, including a new defensive ball swat.

NCAA 2003 comes so close to perfection that you really have to wonder if Tiburon can top itself again next year. [Sept 2002, p.114]
Maxim Online
Its fast and realistic action should make any joystick jock forget how badly his team is doing in real life, and the endless Dynasty mode will make classes optional for months.

The game has improved leaps and bounds since last years version, which is surprising since it was done wonderfully last year.

To really enjoy the game in all it's glory, though, you'll need to play it in dynasty mode.

I hate to sound like an EA Sports poster boy, but NCAA is a must-have for any sports gamer.

What makes the title so special is the constant rewards players receive from just participating in a single game.

Although there are still more titles to be released, Im not quite sure that any of them will be able to compete with the high standard that EA has set with their latest offering, the bar has been raised.

Best college football game on PS2 this season? Hey, is the Pope catholic?

If every game sucked me into its world like this one, I'd drop out of society, move into the Unabomber's cabin, and never turn off my PS2. Seriously, NCAA 2003 is too good. [Sept 2002, p.150]
PSM Magazine
The passing game's sharp, the running game's well balanced, and even the kick return game is more exciting that it is in the pros. [Sept 2002, p.26]
Sports Gaming Network
The combination of solid game play, entertaining commentary, and unparalleled replay value make NCAA 2003 one of the best sports games ever.

Forget about best college games, NCAA Football 2003 is the best football game out there for serious football videogamers... Challenging and satisfying.

In many ways it is a far superior product compared to last year's hit. But in other ways it also feels like a rushed product.

Madden with pageantry, that'd be a nice place to start when describing this game.

A college football fan's dream. There are so many different features in the game, and the dynasty mode is so deep, that it's almost overwhelming.

Despite its niggling flaws, NCAA Football 2003 for the PS2 takes the managerial aspects of college football to new, unexpected heights. There's just a ton of stuff to fiddle with.

NCAA Football, usually regarded as the redheaded stepchild of the sports world, has finally come into its own this year with refined gameplay and jaw dropping graphics to match.

I love the game play, the only thing that could make it better is playing online against others.
Joe L. gave it a 10:
In this game you can be both the under-dog and the ovious power house. this game makes the players exactly like the college players, their strong as well as their week points, both the individial and the teams. this game is the greatest college football game of all time!! it is a heck of a rush.

Chris D. gave it a 10:
The greatest ncaa football game ever. lots of people i know have this game we challenge each other to make teams and send them to dynasty and go head to head for the championship. it is great!
Mike A. gave it a 10:
This is the best football game ever created. My friends and I are in the military and it's the perfect game for ship. With so much spare time on our hands it's not hard to pass the time with this game. So much detail and lifelike plays, it really impressed us. I know 20 people that have it. The only bad things are that the player's names weren't released and there's no tournament mode, but other than that it's the perfect football game. Best ever!
Ryan gave it a 10:
One word- amazing.
