Summary
(Currently available in Japan only) This fast-paced vertically scrolling space shooter is an upgraded verion of "The Will to Fabricate", previously released for the Xbox and Dreamcast systems. The series is known for its Buzz system of bonus rewards based on how close players come get to enemy projectiles without taking being hit. Any shot that passes within the player's individual force field charges a special "Neutrino" gauge and results in bonus points. The game features weapons upgrades, fast-paced shooting action with tons of particles, and a storyline surrounding heroine Kei-Lambda-Oread.

The most essential addition to Psyvariar 2 is an Area Select mode... at last! Those who purchased the Xbox Extend Edition of the game were bitterly disappointed to find this crucial feature still missing, which in itself reduced what would have been a required purchase to merely a worthy one. Those with an eye to that mythical ’one life play-through’ can even control the level and Neutrino gauge fill at which they enter each Area; ideal for perfecting your game. [JPN Import]
