Boomtown
The tracks do a good job of combining a load of remarkably great songs with the simple fact that they were released in the same decade.

The only complaint that I have is that the rap meter still seems to be a little off, so even when I swear I was dead on, I was dinged.

It’s a very fun, engaging game that fits in with Sony’s casual positioning for the PS2.

If you like SingStar and like the thirty tunes listed above, you'll love it. The majority of the tunes are the kind that everyone knows most of the words to, and the collection is far more balanced for males and females than some of the previous expansion packs.

SingStar 90s isn't as flashy as Guitar Hero, nor does it have all the instruments of Rock Band, but it plays well, takes up considerably less space and is a bargain price-wise.

For those that enjoy karaoke, and who love the majority of '90s tunes identified above, SingStar '90s is a solid purchase especially if you haven't picked up a PS3 yet.

With one of the best soundtracks yet Singstar 90's is definitely a title that younger readers will want to add to their collection, if you weren't a fan of 90's music then steer cleer, but otherwise this is a game you'll want to pick up.

What is most appealing about Singstar 90s is that the 90s are a familiar decade. Unless you’re playing with your parents, everyone will know about every song on the list.

Much like its 80s predecessor, this compilation feels like it does not capture what made the 90s so dynamic a time in music.

Even Guitar Hero III, which publisher Activision is milking like a heifer that squirts fine vintage wine instead of calcium-rich cow juice, boasts more than 40 tracks. There should be more here, period.

The U.S. version, on the other hand, features too many one-hit wonders that could have been easily eliminated without anybody mourning them: how many times do you want to sing Chumbawumba's "Tubthumping" or Spin Doctors' "Two Princes"? The novelty is gone after the first time.

A decent selection of '90s songs - some good, some cheesy and some terrible. [Oct 2007, p.83]

SingStar 90’s is a fair investment if you have all the others games and the microphones (standalone version is sold around 30$).

Like it's predecessor SingStar '80s, SingStar '90's track list is just too wide-ranging to keep you from burning out on the small handful of songs that you'll enjoy singing.

There really is no excuse for the workmanlike presentation though – if Sony are going to keep releasing these games, they should at least put something new in them.
