Summary
(Available in Japan only) Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike: Fight for the future adds five new characters (totalling 19 in all) to the rosters such as Chun Li, judo expert Makoto, Gill clone Twelve, Q, and Remy, a Guile/Nash clone. This game also features bonus rounds which we last saw in "Super Street Fighter II." [NOTE: North American gamers will get this game and "Hyper Street Fighter 2" in a package entitled "Street Fighter Anniversary Collection."]

The PS2 version of Third Strike is superior to the earlier Dreamcast port. While the DC port was a fantastic game in its own right, it fell short of perfectly replicating the arcade game...Serious arcade players now have a perfect home version to practice on. [JPN Import]

Even though it may be dated Street Fighter 3: Third Strike is a solid addition to a gamer's collection. It represents one of the better 2D fighters around.

Many people consider this game the best 2D fighter ever created, since it has a very technical gameplay. Many people is questioning Capcom for not developing more SF games... this one is the answer: you can't improve the perfection.
