The action takes place in a crime-ridden city featuring the notorious villains Slade, Overload, Jinx, Gizmo, and Mammoth. Cheat Code Central
The game is a mindless, simplistic punching bag that will either be music to your eyes, ears and thumbs or a crushing disappointment for those looking for more depth (note to self: lower your expectations of superhero games, dude).

GameSpot
Teen Titans the game makes good use of the license to spice up what is otherwise a very average beat-'em-up.

Play Magazine
Enemy bots explode in a single chunk of shrapnel, the collision is sloppy, the action is mostly repetitive and there's no sign of the WB animation. [Mar 2006, p.44]

IGN
It's actually a decent romp for young fans of the show. Having said that, there's not much here to capture the attention of seasoned players.

If you're going to hit your audience with meta-humor about wireframe graphics, you ought to follow up with gameplay that gives them just as much credit.

Teen Titans isn't as inspired as many will hope, and even with the added multiplayer support doesn't end up being much more than a quick Teen Titans videogame tie-in for the masses to consume.

PSM Magazine
What saves the game from being completely mediocre is the story. It’s not particularly compelling, but it does have some entertainingly postmodernist moments. [Mar 2006, p.88]

Games Master UK
Playable, but deflatingly tedious. [Feb 2007, p.68]

Official U.S. Playstation Magazine
Those who have no emotional investment in a ragtag team of junior superheroes will just find yet another simple beat-em-up. [Mar 2006, p.87]

TotalPlayStation
Entirely average in all but the cutscenes (and even those are a little too plentiful for my tastes), Teen Titans just doesn't feel like the kind of game I know A2M can make, and it ends up feeling like salt in the wounds of fans of the cancelled show.

Games Radar (in-house)
Teen Titans is a short and unspectacular diversion for an audience that might be too young for more mature fare, and the price is certainly right, but those more discerning with their beat 'em-up dollars should hunt super-villains elsewhere.

Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
Bland, repetitive brawling that lacks both panache and depth. A decent cartoon feel isn't nearly enough to redeem this hollow, tedious experience. [Jan 2007, p.92]
