WonderwallWeb
A great game to play as a group. The user generated content brings a lot to this title.

The best quiz game ever. [June 2009, p.102]
Games Master UK
A massively enjoyable new quiz game. [June 2009, p.80]
ImpulseGamer
With no real new gameplay, Buzz! Brain of Oz! is still entertaining and is definitely more enjoying as a party game. It's fun, just don't expect anything groundbreaking.

Buzz is still one of my most favourite quiz games to ever be released on any platform, but I really do hope they reconsider their strategy! I for one would sooner see more questions and modes made available online than new disks appearing.

Buzz's high production values still shine through, but the narrower subject matter undoubtedly shortens the appeal of this edition. [June 2009, p.77]
NZGamer
Cynicism, and an underlying sense of being let down aside, Buzz! Brain of New Zealand is a perfectly good game.

There’s no faulting the actual gameplay, that remains as intuitive and enjoyable as ever: get a good group together and you’ll have a great time. However, the lack of additions makes it an almost pointless purchase for anything other than the extra questions.

Recycling the same concept used in all the other Buzz titles, this one offers us 4000 questions where the level of difficulty is very varied. There are a lot of different topics but most of them are focused on popular culture. The major caveat in this title is that the questions aren't focused on the Swedish market, rendering the package as a whole rather pointless.

Buzz! Brains of the World is almost exactly the same quiz game as Buzz! Quiz TV, that was released almost a year ago. But with fewer questions. No additional characters, no additional game play, an identical set of trophies that have to be re-opened again - and virtually no online players. Buzz! Brains of the World is a worse copy of the original fun game.

If Brain of the UK had offered additional rounds, additional characters or, more importantly, a solid single-player experience, it would have been more palatable. As it stands, with Buzz more irritating and repetitive than ever, with the same-old issues holding it back, and with virtually no additional content other than the 4000 questions, this is as far removed from an essential purchase as you can get.
