Summary
[Playstation Network] Protect your party's crystals from encroaching monster hordes in Crystal Defenders, a defensive strategy game featuring characters from Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Deploy your various units in strategic locations to prevent the enemy from escaping the area with your crystals. Favorite characters: Popular characters such as Black Mages and Soldiers are used from Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Use them to protect your crystals. Tons of gameplay: Over 300 stages of action are included with three different game versions. Try W1 to learn game basics, W2 where Power Crystals are introduced for deeper, more detailed strategies, and W3 that features complex maps and fierce monsters to challenge even the most seasoned players. Fun and intuitive: The simple, multi-faceted game system is easy for a novice to pick up, and hard for a veteran to put down. [Square Enix]

Give it a shot, and if the game gets its hooks into you like it did me, be prepared to spend a lot of time screaming at the TV -- while having fun, of course.

Crystal Defenders is a good game with the advantages of being easy to learn, having lots of of maps and challenging gameplay. On the other hand, the graphics are a bit poor and if you're not in to this type of games it'll soon get a bit boring.

If you want some laid back strategy that won't test your brain or steal from your wallet (it's 7.99), this is a recommended download. [Sept 2009, p.77]

Its biggest problem, though, is the competition that's already available on the store. [Oct 2009, p.123]

[Anonymous] gave it a9:
I enjoy this game it is something my kids can play with out saying daddy how do you use this spell. You can have some quick fun with it and try different strategies with it. I recommend it to anyone who played the nintendo days. Boy how games have change. This game teaches you more then just what you think, some things in life are better to be planned out then just shoot em up and Bash threw. As a future game art designer; its not always about the graphics but how the game plays peace.
Cory H gave it a2:
Terrible port of the game (much better on the Wii). Choppy and unplayable, possibly ported from the iPhone version.
