I find Project Gotham tracks have done better in giving player bite-sized, drift happy courses, but overall this game is the burst of speed that this genre needs. [Nov 2007, p.145]

Surprisingly good fun. A tad easy and simplistic to play, but with loads of variety. [Dec 2007, p.78]

It is a genuinely exciting arcade racer with just the right amount of meat on its jiggling ass. [Dec 2007, p.102]

It's old-school racing, that's for sure. Nevertheless, it's entertaining enough for most folk to consider giving it a bash. Much like "Sega Rally," it has put fun first and built everything around that. [Issue#159, p.92]

Pelit (Finland)
Suffers from the official license. The whole street racing culture just doesn't fit into official closed races, the feel is simply gone. There is no traffic, no cops, no free feeling of open road. There are also way, way too few tracks to choose from. The tuning, though quite fun, suffers from the same lack of variety. [Nov 2007]

Juiced 2 puts on a good front, but runs out of, well, juice far too quickly to bet $60 on such a middle-of-the-road experience. [Dec 2007, p.88]
