Eurogamer
You can't really fault it for value, because, for GBP 1.99, the few hours of brilliant entertainment you get here are well worth it. A big, warming, chain reaction of delight that you'll want to revisit again and again.

Reinventing the franchise in a simplistic but addictive manner, the self-proclaimed interactive screensaver is a surprisingly addictive game that will confuse onlookers and anyone within earshot.

Despite being only one level long, Cocoreccho! is packed to the brim with excellence and fun, and that one level is worth ten from any other game. [Nov 2007, p.66]
VideoGamer
As a game, we preferred the original LocoRoco, but at £1.99 what you get is amazing value. LocoRoco Cocoreccho will have a great time, with or without you.

It won't take long to get the most out of Cocoreccho!, but the 1.99 pound price tag is insignificant, making this LocoRoco experience worthwhile. Still, it isn't lengthy enough to be a game, and after a week it'll lie forgotten on your hard drive. [Issue#159, p.97]
Playstation Official Magazine UK
Sort of a seamless puzzle, a visual feast of abstract foliage, mentalist singing and funky contraptions. [Nov 2007, p.109]
GameSpot
The pure charisma of LocoRoco Cocorrecho will win you over, though the game itself is over before you know it.

A cute and fun title that's unfortunately marred by quite a bit of sitting around and waiting.

It's fun while it lasts, but is more of a distraction - or even an interactive screensaver - than a proper game. [Dec 2007, p.84]

Bret gave it a9:
Unique and clever game that definatly is worth the money it costs. We've got several hours of gameplay out of it and we still are playing it. It seems short at first but each play opens up a new 'gate' which expands the area quite a bit. Plus it has 3 mini games to find as well. My wife loves this game.
Lars S. gave it a10:
This game is excellent. Much more content delivered than expected. Hours of unique gameplay. I love how it's not just a port of the PSP game. There is still lots of tilting to be done via SIXAXIS, but they implement another mechanic to get the locorocos to places you'd like them to go. I also love how you shake sleeping locoroco 'fruits' off vines with the SIXAXIS.
J B gave it a2:
This would have been a fun game if they had stuck with the gameplay of the original PSP title. You can no longer tilt the entire world, only select platforms. Also, as there is no way to save your progress, you can loose two hours of play if a few of your LocoRoco get eaten.
Anthony . gave it an8:
It always amazes me when the big mags review these $7 games with the same criteria they would a $70 game. Gimme a break! It may be short, but you paid 1/10th the price for it. Since it's a reviewers job vs hobby and they get the games for free I think they lose site of this. If Halo 3 is 10 hours and costs $60-70 and this game is fun for 2 hours and costs $7... Don't you think that means job well done? It may not be the same huge blockbuster experience but it's fun none the less and occupies your time nicely. This game is good in the same way that flOw was good, an "entertaining experience" more so than a traditional game and it deserves a play. P.S. Another cool Sixaxis title would make a Wii fanboy proud.
Dave A. gave it an8:
Lots of fun for all ages .My son(7)and i play for hours. It's worth the price .
Conor O.l gave it an8:
You'd expect this to be a Wii title, but it really works so well with the pad. Music will make you die of happiness. Buy this game for €3, for your inner child's sake. Its full of WIN!
