Hack-N-Slash your way through enemy infested dungeons in this action/RPG hybrid. Gather items and raw materials to craft awesome alchemic weapons to defeat your enemies. Find rare and hidden treasures, learn powerful new techniques and spells and vanquish the evil that is plaguing your kingdom. With hundreds of different items and even more combinations, the ability to develop and “bless” your weapon and armor is almost unprecedented. Not only can you enhance your equipment, you can also purchase upgrades from the NPC’s, further expanding the amount of customization within the game. There are four different avatars that you can choose from, each with their own unique abilities and skill sets. Pick the one that is most suited to your playing style. You and a friend can explore and conquer the various dungeons that are available to you. By combining the skills available to each other, you can compliment one another and enjoy another level of gaming goodness. There is also a dungeon mode, which lets you re-explore dungeons for other content once you have cleared the game, adding more replay value to the title. With hardly any load times, you move from one floor to another within the dungeons to keep the action fast and furious. [UFO Interactive]

IGN
Warriors of the Lost Empire is super-simple, fails at delivering a compelling story and is far from perfect, but if you're looking to hack-and-slash your way through hordes of enemies and upgrade some weapons as well as attributes, there are worse ways to spend your free time on the PSP.

Cheat Code Central
A lackadaisical approach to the hack-and-slash role playing genre. Nevertheless, there are enough bright moments to overlook the game's several detriments, which include mediocre visuals, a poor camera, a confusing synthesis system, and an uneven difficulty.

Warriors of the Lost Empire is a game you'll want to like, but only hardcore fans of the hack & slash genre will have a very easy time forgiving its flaws.

An uninspired dungeon-crawler mired by boring, repetitive gameplay, and more design flaws than you can shake a gladius at.

Game Revolution
Probably the closest thing to compare it to would be the Dynasty Warriors series. Its games are not known for being the most in-depth, but they at least strike the good balance between hack-and-slash and RPG that Warriors lacks.

Richard S. gave it a10:
If you like to make a powerfull character and fight to do it then get this gem. The game takes time but that's the fun because you'll need the levelups and mods. Two thumbs up.
