Summary
Climb behind the trigger and help our distressed farmer friend obliterate hordes of no good cluckers! Great comic sound effects, and catchy original songs to fashion a world where hunting fowl is a blast! Brilliant animation takes you through forests and villages, through deserts and mountains, winging winged adversaries and piling up points. [DSI Games]

Game Almighty
It’s an accessible and easy-to-master Wii game, providing simplistic gameplay and a neat art style. It’s certainly not "Call of Duty," but on the Wii that may be a good thing.

Hint: There are many good flash-based games out there that you can play for free; just go to their website through the Wii's Internet browser!

As a Virtual Console release or a tech demo for a bigger project, Chicken Shoot might’ve been iffy – possibly Ok, if it were a buck or two. But as a full title on a Wii disc, it can barely compete with games released 10 years ago, let alone what we have today.

Chicken Shoot doesn’t have anything going for it that would make it remotely recommendable to anyone. Avoid it like you would a chicken carrying SARS.

It's got less meat than any McNugget and it doesn't even taste good – plus, it'll cost you about $30, which equates to about a dollar for every minute you'll spend with it.

Wii owners should avoid this game like chickens avoid Col. Sanders.

The target game in Wii Play is miles better and more challenging. [Oct 2007, p.69]

Ryan W., Prol M., and John S. must be this game's developers, because nobody in their right mind could give this game a 10/10. Online flash shooting galleries made in a middle school tech class are better. If you want a shooting-gallery type game, get Wii Play or Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals.
[Anonymous] gave it a1:
Ugh, I can't believe anybody gave this game a 10. Like others have said, the shooting game included in Wii Play is significantly better, and that's not saying much. I played this at my girlfriend's house, and quite frankly, if I had bought it, I would've demanded a refund and an apology from the store for ever stocking this crap. Not only is it just a 2-d shooting gallery which costs $30, it's not even a good 2-d shooting gallery. Weapon powerups are actually worse than the default, every level is just a cartoon picture which appears to have been made by a 10 year old, and each level is populated by the same 5 chicken drawings. Some games are so bad, you might want them just to laugh at how bad they are. This is not one of those games - it is beyond just bad. I gave it a 1 because it runs and doesn't seem to do any permanent damage to your console. Your mind, however, is another story. Avoid at all costs.
Ryan W. gave it a10:
A great game hidden within bad box art.
Porl M. gave it a10:
Its actually a good game when used with a large projecter.
John S. gave it a10:
It does what it does well. Money well spent if you ask me.
Joseph E. gave it a3:
I was hoping this game would be a Point Blank or Duck Hunt. Sadly, it fails to even provide a captivating gameplay for even one level. The controls are awkward, especially the panning of the screen, and the shooting is often unresponsive and nonsensical - the fully automatic gun is a joke. Duck Hunt on Wiiplay is much better than this sad game, and that's not really saying much as I gave away my copy of Wiiplay to a friend.
