From the Trade Federation's "negotiations" with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace to the space battle above Endor in Return of the Jedi, The Complete Saga allows players to kick some brick through 36 Story Mode levels, including Episode II's newly added high-speed pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell. Traveller’s Tales has revamped levels from the original LEGO Star Wars to match the gameplay evolutions found in LEGO Star Wars II, and Prequel Trilogy characters can now be mixed and matched with those from the Original Trilogy – more than 160 in all. Veterans will appreciate these new additions the most. The bonus features/content, reworked levels and new modes will delight fans. [Dec 2007, p.57]

With both of the previous games and bonus content, it's a great value and it'll provide hours of entertainment. LSW veterans, however, might not want to dive in so soon, however, as you've played most of this game already.

FUN - in 200-foot high letters made of Lego. Regardless of whether you think George Lucas is a genius in a beard or the prime reason for bringing back the thumbscrew, play this now. [Christmas 2007, p.48]

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a solid compilation that is superior to the two games that preceded it.

I would highly recommend Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for anybody that likes the Star Wars universe. Period. It’s simple enough that anybody can enjoy it, but challenging enough that an experienced gamer won’t be bored by it.

Complete Saga is just a bringing together of those two games with a smattering of new levels. But for those of you who haven't tried Lego Star Wars before and are looking for one of the best games for the Wii, Complete Saga will charm your socks off.

It is easily accessible, truly addictive, and loaded with tons of content to warrant the $50 price tag. However, if you have already played through the first two games there is little here worth coming back for unless online co-op and more Achievement points are your thing.

One thing that did disappoint me about this game is the lack of new content. For the most part, all the levels are the same as they were on the preceding Lego Star Wars games.

If you haven't played the other Lego SW titles, and you fancy a bit of straightforward, enjoyable platform action, this is an essential purchase. It's also great for younger gamers, especially if you like to play co-operatively. And the sharp, shiny, varied visuals make it one of the best-looking games on the Wii.

IGN
So aside from the camera controls, not-so-snappy studs and some problems with pacing in a handful of places, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a solid game with good Wii implementation.

Game Informer
Despite all of these cool minor additions, the core gameplay feels mostly like one big retread. With all of the great new games coming out this holiday, it’s hard to justify replaying this series. For diehard fans, however, this is the definitive LEGO Star Wars game.

If you've played the previous two titles then this may be worth skipping but if not then here is your chance to get two of the most enjoyable games released in the past two years.

While the flying levels are frustrating and the change-characters-to-hit-this-switch mechanic gets old, the great humor and extras make Lego Star Wars worth playing if you haven't tried it yet.

Still, it's a fun title and one worth getting for the little Star Wars fanatic in your life. [Dec 2007, p.127]

Even if the new bells and whistles aren't enough to bring back established fans, this is still Lego Star Wars at its finest.

Rob T. gave it a10:
My kids and I love to play this game. We've already have played through all 6 movies and are now going back through it again to unlock the other elements. 36 hours of game time...my wife is going to kill me! ;-) We can't wait for Indy to come out!

C P gave it a10:
This is my favorite game. My children and I play it all the time.

J Mo gave it an8:
I was very skeptical of the game, and ended up being pleasantly shocked. The game is absurd (in a good way), and there's so many options on how to play (1 or 2 player RPG, arcade vs battle mode, vehicle racing) that odds are you'll get a $ worth of entertainment out of it.

Leia T. gave it a9:
This is the best of the Lego Star Wars games! There is always new things to do. You can also unlock an Indiana Jones! XD LOVE IT!

Jeff M. gave it an8:
A great rental -- but you don't need it for longer than a week to completely finish the game.

D.K Kong gave it a9:
It was a very well based out game and allot of features and violence.

Marina D. gave it a10:
This game is my favorite for Wii so far. I played for Xbox also but this one is better! Can't wait to play Indiana Jones and Batman! I hope that are as good as LSW.
