Nintendo Power
Loads of unlockables and a handful of multiplayer modes round out the respectable package. [Aug 2007, p.88]
Game Almighty
The controls and goals are decidedly simple, the story is definitely classic and non-violent, but that’s not to say it’s only for younger audiences. Just about anyone can have a good time with this game, at least for a while. The Wii version is well done, and the controls feel well implemented. It’s funny, it’s fun, and it’s just plain easy to enjoy.

Ratatouille is a fun game; the only sad thing is that this game really doesn’t try to add anything new.

Ratatouille won't astound those looking for something more original. On the other hand, it still gets by with a healthy portion of fine content, enough to be worth a rent – or a purchase to those with young kids. This rat hasn't quite produced a prime rib, but at least the meal didn't stink.

A well-made, but basic platformer that is usually fun despite its lack or originality.

Breaks the recent run of poor movie spin-offs by being thoughtful and fun. [Nov 2007, p.94]
Games Master UK
We've played far worse movie adaptations, but why play with a copy-rat game? [Dec 2007, p.65]
NGamer UK
No shortage of ideas makes this one of the better licensed titles, but its schizophrenic nature disguises sloppy gameplay. [Oct 2007, p.68]
Gamestyle
On its own merits it is a steady adventure with plenty of content and modes making it an outside bet for any younger Nintendo Wii owner.

At $10 more than the PS2/GameCube versions, you’ll get a better looking game, but with wonky controls. Had the Camera or Dash button been changed, then we might have film-tie in greatness here. Either way, the GameCube version is cheaper and will still play on your Wii.

Pretty uninspiring stuff, but I guess if you’re a parent looking for a (relatively) harmless game to pick up for a small child it might do the trick. I’d like to think your kids deserve better.

An okay platforming game that provides some adequete platforming entertainment. Everything in the game has that same "been there done that" feeling, but as the game doesn't have any major flaws fans of the film and small children may find some fun in the game.
While the idea and story remain intact, the actual gameplay manages to suck all of the charm out of the characters and plot, and while there are some slight variations and mini-games that attempt to keep things fresh, everything else about this title is stale.

All in all, while Ratatouille has its enjoyable moments, the main missions leave you feeling a bit hungry for something meatier, while the tasks like slides or races spoil your appetite.
Ratatouille is not really much different in gameplay than most other movie-licensed games; in fact, it may be a bit better since it mooches off an obscure and great source material, Chibi-Robo.

Tom K. gave it an8:
Very good game. Great graphics and gameplay. Many of the levels and mini games were quite challenging if not a little redundant after awhile. Made great use of the wii controller and nunchuck and controls were very precise and intuitive. Running the rat at high speed, power sliding around the kitchen was very well executed and entertaining. Not just for kids. Recommended.
JC A. gave it a0:
The controlls are impossible. period.
