Summary
After invading the world of Rayman, the insane Rabbids have a new objective: THE INVASION OF PLANET EARTH! Setting their home base at a shopping mall, the Rabbids try to study human behavior and mimic everything humans do in funny, illogical ways. As part of their training, the Rabbids must carry out several missions around the globe to prepare themselves for world domination. Rayman will attempt to infiltrate the Rabbids, disguised as one of them, in a mission to foil their crazy plans and save Earth. Game features include: 60 brand-new games that spoof popular culture and are even wackier than those featured in the first Rayman Raving Rabbids. Unique use of the Wii Remote – Discover new, innovative ways to play, with eight types of gameplay, including shaking, precision, dexterity and balance. Travel around the world - Take Rayman on a world tour to defend Earth from the Rabbids invasion. Travel to five different regions such as the USA, Europe and Asia, where players will challenge the Rabbids in the local environments. Customize Rayman and the Rabbids - Use more than 110 items (skins, hats, accessories and clothes) to dress Rayman and create your own Rabbids. Unleash your creativity with over 540K customization combinations. Multiplayer experience – Play co-op or battle up to three friends in all the games unlocked in the single-player campaign. [Ubisoft]

If you have more than one friend or family member to play Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 with then there are few excuses not to own it.

Hugely entertaining. [Issue#17, p.90]
Pelit (Finland)
An amusing and little bit different minigamecollection. Gather some friends to play, though - it will be that much more fun. The shooting games are a nice addition for loners. [Jan 2008]
GameDaily
The graphics are cheery and hilarious, with the Rabbids stealing the show from Rayman. The Wi-Fi Connection function is a nice touch, though it lacks online multiplayer. Invite these Rabbids to your next holiday party.

Easily one of the best minigame compilations on Wii. There's lot of fun to be had here. [Christmas 2007, p.79]
Game Informer
Several dozen unlockable outfits can be mixed and matched at your leisure to create the silliest looking avatar imaginable, and the longer arcade shooters from the first game return as brief alternatives to the more frantic minigames.

If you're the sort who prefers single-player adventures though, this isn't the game for you. [Christmas 2007, p.76]
NGamer UK
Rabbids provide multiplayer lunacy and joy in a minigame collection that's one of the nicest on Wii at the moment. [Jan 2008, p.46]

While I commend the developers at Ubisoft for trying to do new and original things in this sequel - one that comes only a year after its predecessor - it seems that the Rayman Raving Rabbids idea just isn't quite good enough for a real franchise.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 does have some great attributes to it, but the hit and miss mini-games and the somewhat lackluster single player experience hamper the overall score.
A sequel that's good but not great. It's got mini-games that will hook you immediately, a stronger emphasis on group play, and some genuinely hilarious moments. It's also got some bad mini-game mechanics that are recycled throughout the experience that drag it down.

If you intend to play with friends and family, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a great title to add to your collection. If you intend to go solo, then the experience isn’t so great.

This follow-up collection of minigames isn't nearly as captivating or humorous as its predecessor, but it still has its moments.

As funny and clever as the festivities can be, they don't always equate to fun gameplay. [Holiday 2007, p.80]
GamingExcellence
Despite numerous faults, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a decent sequel to a fabulous game by Ubisoft.

While Ubisoft has added 50 new minis and colored the experience with unlockable costumes and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support (for high score tracking), the core games are less enjoyable than those in the first, which is very disappointing.

Rent it, play it with your friends, and see what you think. I'm not saying you can't have fun with Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 if you're in good company, but you'll probably agree with me in that the mini-games are a little weak.
Ultimately, what we have here is collection of mini games that range from the dull to the sublime with unfortunately slightly more emphasis on the former.
All the games, even the good ones, outlast their welcome. [Jan 2008, p.90]
NintendoWorldReport
RRR2 has taken all the charm and thoughtful originality of the first game and reduced it to a catatonically simple formula that even the most ardent fan will find hard to enjoy for longer than a few hours.
There's still an argument for considering other mini-game collections with better ratios of good-to-poor games. The ratio in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 isn't even as good as it was in the first game. And overall the game isn't as entertaining as a rabbit doing a poo on a stage, which should tell you something.
It would be easy to give Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 an easy time simply because it's on the Wii and is a mini-game collection, but when the original game is a far more impressive game, Rabbids 2 has nowhere to hide.
The Wiire
Mini-games are fun, but they often grow too old, too quickly; Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a clear example of this, but those looking for an easy-going multiplayer game might find some value here.
Read Full Review >Jolt Online Gaming UK
Not only does Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 cure insomnia, but it improves your social skills as you will need to go out and find friends to replace the ones that don’t want to speak to you again after you force this one them.
The painfully simplistic controls and short nature of the mini-games aren't going to satisfy most players, even those who routinely fire up the Wii to play with friends.

Emilea E. gave it a9:
This game is really good . The graphics are so realistic and clear . The only promblem is that on some games it dosen't clearly tell you the instructions , but you soon become aware of them as the games continues . Me and my family all rate this game a must have.
Peter G. gave it a10:
We really enjoyed the original Rayman, but the sequel is even better. It's a really fun party game with the multi-player support.
Gnarls C. gave it a10:
Raving Rabbids Two has the best replay value of any party game, mostly because you can unlock so many cool levels and stuff. Most games, like Mario Party, don't have that. so this one is worth checking out if only for that. of course, there's all kinds of other cool stuff going on, good graphics, good music, etc. check it out!
graphics junky gave it a9:
I'm fairly astounded with what they did with this graphics engine. Very clean, smooth graphics. No screen tearing, nothing that ISN'T eye candy. of course, it's just generally a lot of FUN :D but in general you'll be amazed at how good these graphics are.
Brad G. gave it a10:
This is a great game for parties. I have yet to find the friend who doesn’t; want to play this game the instant they get to my house. People will line up for hours for a shot at playing 4 person mini games together because nothing makes for a more fun time than swinging, shaking and waving the Wii mote around while shrieking laughter. Good times!
Tad D. gave it a10:
JOY! Here’s a party game I can genuinely get into, it’s much more interesting than trying to move a ball along a series of grooves or some other such banal nonsense as that. Unlike monkeyball and other party games, this one goes way beyond mastering base mechanics. This is a free for all brawl! You DO try to solve puzzles and things like that, but you do it in the most destructive and fun way imaginable. Fun for the whole demented family!
altair's lookalike quanino gave it a10:
RRR2: graphics OK, no plot, great gameplay, hilarious and non-violent. puzzle based, addictive and almost useless without other players. RRR2 is the most addictive party game i've ever played. waaaay better than mario party, and it's designed to just make you crack up, so it brings you and your friends together. i highly recommend it!!
