Worth Playing
I feel confident in saying that Super Swing Golf: Season 2 is by far the best golf title on the Wii. While the game doesn't really break any new ground, its execution is nearly flawless.

85
Game Informer
Despite all the half-assed games on the Wii, this one does not sacrifice gameplay for charm.

Games Radar
While much of the content in Super Swing Golf Season 2 is carried over from the original, it's presented in a way that makes the game fresh and exciting again, and is no longer a chore on the single-player side.

GameTap
There’s almost nothing about Super Swing that causes it to be mistaken for, say, Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf, but its strength is its nicely tuned swing mechanic that frankly puts Tiger’s woods and irons to the test.

79
Official Nintendo Magazine UK
A better single-player game but the controls, lack of online and similarity to the last game docks its points. [Aug 2008, p.90]

The Wiire
While the Super Swing Golf series still dominates the greens on Wii, hopefully the developers will put more time in between editions so as to focus on improving the swing mechanic and visuals, while incorporating online features for a truly worthwhile experience.

75
Game Revolution
Aside from the constant elevator music, Super Swing Golf Season 2 is a solid golf game with a lot of replay value.

73
IGN
If you’re new to the series, Super Swing Golf: Season 2 is the version to get hands-down, as it offers the same experience with additional content. For those that backed the original, however, $40 is a lot to ask for a few new courses and items.

Cheat Code Central
A significant improvement over the first installment. The visuals, sounds, and gameplay are all well done. The controls are decent, but they may be too frustrating to many gamers. This is especially so for youngsters. That's unfortunate because the game's whimsical feel is best suited for children.

70
GameSpot
Though the improvements are minimal, Super Swing Golf Season 2 is more enjoyable than its predecessor.

65
Nintendo Power
This is a solid game that simply doesn't do enough to separate itself from its predecessor. [Jan 2008, p.88]

1UP
Progressing from a lucky-club-swinging rookie whose every shot is a hook or a slice to a seasoned golfer using advanced club sets in Super Swing Golf: Season 2 is entertaining -- if you are patient enough to learn the ropes.

65
GameZone
Not only does this sequel lack any real substantial upgrades, but the motion controls are without precision. However, there is a lot to do, and hardcore fans will likely find a lot to love.

63
NGamer UK
Could and should have been a lot better, if only it wasn't crippled by technical letdowns and questionable design choices. [Mar 2008, p.58]
60
G4 TV
Despite being formulaic and a little bit frustrating at times, Super Swing Golf Season 2 is a solid addition to the Wii’s sports lineup.

50
GameShark
A disappointment. It’s still fun and new gamers who haven’t played the original will like it much more than players who were here from day one.

50
GameSpy
Season 2 will help satisfy series or genre fans' lust for collecting things by virtually golfing, but by failing to add a satisfying online experience to the game -- the first game's real weak spot -- 2 is more expansion pack than true sequel.
