GameSpot
It doesn't quite have the same high-quality gameplay found in "2002 FIFA World Cup," but its enormous number of features is enough to make it an all-around solid game.

Basically, if you want to score, you must counter-attack by using the long ball (similar to hockey's dump and chase.) This fact, and the lack of special movies, addes no style to your play. [Aug 2002, p.55]
TotalGames.net

Combine this with graphics and presentation that seem at least three years out of date, and what you're left with is a pretty poor soccer title. [Sept 2002, p.98]
Xbox Nation Magazine
As stale as a loaf of '86 rye; as mind-numbing as Donny Osmond's autobiography. [Fall 2002, p.120]

NviperO gave it a3:
Probably the worst soccer game I've ever played. There are some things done well, but mostly it seems like DBS was made to rip money off from Becks' fans.
Chase K. gave it a 10:
I can never find it they dont supply it to stores enough.
