Succeeds at pleasing its intended audience (the older teenage male, which I very happily fall in). As a trivia game, the questions are varied enough to keep things interesting and the breast parade never feels pushed or clearly added for marketing reasons.

It may be tasteless, but I prefer this kind of tastelessness over "BMX XXX." At least it's fun tastelessness. It's a trivia game with a random sampling of college girls who are willing to do some rather crazy things for...fun. And you get to watch.

If you're up for a little bit of trivia with a dirty sense of humor and you have three like-minded friends, The Guy Game won't let you down.

The novelty of playing the game is sure to wear off after a while, especially considering the limited number of episodes. Its possible to go through every single episode in a weekend, which doesnt speak volumes about returning to this game time and time again. Second, while the single player game is adequate, this game is much better as a party title with plenty of alcohol.

Once the buzz of seeing more than 60 girls topless wears off, this one might collect dust on the shelf, or under the bed, or wherever you hide your adult entertainment collection.

The Guy Game features tons of questions and the inclusion of the Spring Break girls is an original twist on an old concept; after all, "Hollywood Squares" was doing the same shtick even before "Street Smarts."

At times, the game is more complicated than it needs to be (e.g., top scorer sets the rules, minigames within the game), but there are 20 episodes with over 60 girls displaying their tidbits, many of which are quite tantalizing.

Sounds like the American dream of most 18 - 25 year old males, right? Too bad the game never really breaks free from mediocrity and ends up being far too much work for just some quick flashes of the shirt puppies.

Thankfully, The Guy Game offers a good deal of entertainment for the audience it's shooting for, mainly the drinking crowd that's into checking out topless hotties and is up for a little trivia to earn their way.

Good for a few party nights if your friends haven’t played it already, but be warned that the game has almost zero replay value.

A decent attempt at making a game around !&%$@#* appeal, but it still doesnt quite hit the mark. The repetitive questions in each episode give the game almost no replay value.

If youre seriously interested in this "game," you're probably a loser who's embarrassed to buy porn, and way too chicken to actually talk to a real girl. [Oct 2004, p.129]

A delicate blend of "You Don't Know Jack," "Girls Gone Wild," and repeatedly smashing your head against a concrete wall. [Oct 2004, p.116]
My Gamer
Trying to pass this disc off as a game is an insult to video games. If you want to see naked females, then rent a porno. If you want to play mini games, play "Mario Party" or "Wario Ware." If you want to play a trivia game, then play "You Dont Know Jack" or "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." Mixing all these elements into an Xbox game is ridiculous.

No, the problem here is that getting to the naked women is a painstaking chore, and the few seconds of a girl going wild does not make up for the five minutes of inane videos leading up to it.

"But it's a great drunken party game!" some will scream. I'm sorry, but it's far too complicated and asinine for intoxicated people to grasp. It took me forever to reach unobstructed FMV toplessness, and I was sober.

The Guy Game's trivia-based party-game core isn't fun or interesting enough to justify the ooze you'll feel covered with after watching one dumb, drunk, or disinterested girl after another reveal her chest to a horde of sweaty virgins. [Nov 2004, p.89]
Electronic Gaming Monthly
Or, if you're a life-hating masochist, you can waste $40 on The Guy Game, spend countless hours answering dumb trivia questions - and guessing if vapid skanks can answer dumb trivia questions (usually not) - and then...maybe see breasts. [Nov 2004, p.128]
Xbox Nation Magazine
There's absolutely nothing appealing about any of it. Nor does the game possess any redeeming qualities, save for the fact that it won't immediately afflict you with cancer. [Oct 2004, p.97]

Michael C. gave it a 1:
Wow, what a good idea gone horribly wrong! This game is such a waste of time. If you're old enough to actually buy this game, and have any desire to do so, do yourself a favor and buy any pornographic magazine or video instead. I'm almost too ashamed to admit I've even played this piece of crap.
Chimpsky gave it a 1:
IMHO a big pile of steamy horsesh.t, way past sell by date, completely sexist, banal + uninspired...sober or drunk.
Jon S. gave it a 10:
Excellent game! I got together with my buddies and got hammered playing this thing.
Uter gave it an 8:
Nice to see some effort put into this sort of game. It's weird but nearly all the strippers they hired are horrific (rewards should be having them put their clothes back on). The college girls are pretty awesome though.
Grend gave it an 8:
Pretty fun, especially with friends and beer.
Bob D. gave it a 10:
Oh Yes!
