This exclusive deal marks the first time ever the band has included an entire album for video game play, with 18 live tracks from their prolific live performances becoming available in one electrifying, standalone game. I would have to say that this track pack is a solid addition to the Rock Band family even if it might seem a little on the expensive side.

What you get here is over an hour and a half of AC/DC at their best and live. The song list is extensive and will please any fan of the band for sure.

AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack is exactly what fans of the band have been wanting, it's a no frills collection of 18 amazing songs. I still think that the $40 asking price may be a bit steep, especially considering that the most expensive downloadable song in the music store is no more than $2.

There are some great AC/DC tracks here which would make a fantastic addition to any Rock Band collection, but you'll have to pay a premium to get them, including a lot of songs you're probably not interested in. Unless you're an absolute AC/DC fanatic, you're probably better served waiting to pick this up on sale sometime down the road.

But it’s still a letdown. If only this had been packaged with more goodies or delivered digitally for a more reasonable price.

Unfortunately, you'll finish solo tour mode within a couple of hours, there's no online multiplayer and the original master tracks aren't available.

The tracklist is epic. It’d want to be, because it’s really the only thing the game has going for it.

The AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack is an hour and a half AC/DC experience only for fans of the band.

The AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack is a short but sweet experience that leaves you feeling like you didn't get a Whole Lotta Rosie.

The biggest strike against AC/DC Live is that it's just too expensive for what you get. It's too bad, because this is a fantastic set of songs. If you can't live without AC/DC, then pick this up now. Otherwise, I'd wait for an eventual price drop. In either case, don't buy AC/DC Live unless you plan import the tracks to Rock Band. It's really not worth a damn as a stand-alone game.

Hardcore fans will appreciate the lineup. There were one or two tracks I missed, and a number more that I didn't know at all, but largely it's a decent greatest hits-type collection.

We can’t imagine that general Rock Band players could justify buying a whole disc just for 18 songs from one band. [Feb 2009, p.123]
X360 Magazine UK
The tracks are fantastic, but the bare bones package is upsetting. If this had been DLC we’d be all over it, but as it stands, it falls quite short of expectations.

Great music, but this is prime DLC material and definitely not worth 30 quid. [Mar 2009, p.82]
Teletext GameCentral
Rock Band's first band specific release is the epitome of dirty deeds done (but not sold) cheap.
