Official Xbox Magazine UK
The best puzzler on Xbox Live Arcade. [Jan 2008, p.98]
Team Xbox
Taito has meticulously crafted each progressive level in Exit to be a mindbender, thus ruling out all possibilities of this title being a pushover. Throw in the fact that there are a staggering 220 levels in Exit, and you can easily see why puzzle freaks like us are clamoring over Mr. ESC and his hip antics.

The beauty of Exit is that it's perfect to play in little, bite-sized chunks (no doubt a side effect of originally being programmed for a portable system). There are loads of levels to challenge, but each one only takes minutes to complete.

It's not the most innovative puzzle game and it may not control that well, but there is something utterly irresistible about Exit that keeps you coming back for more.

Those exhausted with puzzle-genre conventions will find Exit to be a fun and inventive brainteaser with a wonderful sense of style.

Though it's not perfect, Exit is worth picking up for any fan of Lemmings or Lode Runner.

Between the blipping electro soundtrack and dated, incessant "Help me!" whining voices, Exit serves as a great reminder as to why it is so cool that you can stream music through your 360.

The protagonist can feel a bit slow to respond to your commands, but between the unique art direction and 120 boards of imaginative confusion, Exit delivers just enough pleasure to sweeten its pain. [Jan 2008, p.69]
Eurogamer
We wish it spent a little more time on puzzles, and little less on weak platforming - but we can't help but love it when a plan comes together.

An initially tidy-looking little puzzler spoilt by the very nature of what it actually depicts. [Issue 27, p.116]
Xbox World 360 Magazine UK
Annoying, frustrating; even Mr ESC couldn't rescue this game from complete disaster. [Jan 2008, p.94]
