When it comes to sitting shoulder to shoulder with some of your friends, Fuzion Frenzy 2 is a passable alternative to having to teach a new player how all the buttons work in another game such as Gears of war. But since it doesn't have much long-term appeal.

Truth be told, the presentation is awful, but this replay value is built to last with the right audience. And hey, with an easy 1000 points in achievements to be had (I unlocked them all within a few sessions), it's at least worth a rental for those on the fence.

While the voice acting is atrocious and the card system can really anger you when it doesn’t work in your favor, overall Fuzion Frenzy 2 is unmistakably an admirable party title.

I don't have too many gripes with this title. The only real flaw of the game is that the graphics are a bit choppy and the sound could be a bit better.
Read Full Review >Planet Xbox 360
With 43 mini-games it includes enough substance to warrant a purchase, especially if you like the “party game” genre. While the offline modes may lack in terms of a single-player experience, games like FF2 really succeed because they are fun to play with other people.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 won’t dazzle you with brand new game modes or a whole new party game concept, but the online element will ensure that you’ll never have to play it alone.
Its minigame format is a well-worn one, but the inclusion of online play in Fuzion Frenzy 2 gives the game an edge.
Eighty percent of the included games are fun. The other twenty percent are just plain difficult to play and uninteresting.

If you are looking for some easy achievements then this is worth renting but if you want “fun” playing against your friends/family locally or the world on Xbox Live then this game is certainly worth picking up.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 is like a decent-tasting smoothie of low-calorie gaming activities with a disgusting cherry on top. The game improves a lot if you’re playing at home with friends or smack-talking strangers online, but like any party, it isn’t meant to be a solo affair.
Overall, Fuzion Frenzy 2 manages to bring back some good memories, but fails to improve upon the original in many ways.
If Hudson had worked on making more compelling mini-games and improved the presentation, then I think the online play might actually be a hit.
Read Full Review >Digital Entertainment News
While its predecessor may have made for a decent Xbox launch title, Fuzion Frenzy 2 is really an unremarkable party game for this day in age, with numerous problems on top of it all.

Just don’t buy this if you are going to be playing on your own, or if you think Live will it make up for it, because it really doesn’t, not by a long way.
With instantly forgettable games, ugly graphics and the worst character designs of all time, Fuzion Frenzy 2 proves to be nothing more than a way to get achievement points!
The game itself is poorly made, generic in most respects, and unoriginal in its approach. But it gets the job done, and there is no other game on Xbox 360 like it.
As is so often the case in this genre, the minigames miss as many pitches as they hit. We'd actually recommend the Xbox predecessor over this one, if it didn't suffer horrible performance problems when running on the 360.
It's the online play that sets Fuzion Frenzy 2 apart from its peers, while the rest of the package simply does its job without ever excelling.
Microsoft seeks to spice things up with this sequel to the surprise hit Party game. Although the game can be fun with friends, it is let down by the bland single player mode.
Read Full Review >Cheat Code Central
This game could have offered much more if it had used some of the good elements of the latest Mario Party games, instead of just focusing on giving it a new, "cool" look.
In the end, Fuzion Frenzy 2 is simply an average (at best) party/compilation game that lacks depth, an overall sense of continuity and fun.
At the end of the day Fusion Frenzy 2 is a fun game for the whole family, but the bland character design, non-existent plot and the overall obnoxious voice-overs really hurt this title more than they should.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 isn't terrible, so if you're desperate for a simple, safe party game, it fits the bill. Unfortunately, it fits the bill in so lackluster a manner, it's hard to see why they bothered.
Run, don't walk, in the opposite direction of this one. With its boring collection of mini-games and cheap presentation, this one will only appeal to the littlest of tykes.
It's the only real four-player, easy-to-learn game in the 360's library. If that's what you're looking for -- or you're a seven-year-old whose parents won't buy you Gears of War so you can use potty-mouth online -- then by all means rent Fuzion Frenzy 2.
Online play means that even solo players are able to go up against real opponents, but there aren't enough great mini-games in the collection to warrant more than one or two plays through what is on offer.
Fuzion Frenzy 2 is a perfect example of the bare minimum that you can do to get a number after the title of your game.
The game's lack creativity, the presentation is terrible, and some of the features never work properly which makes Fuzion Frenzy 2 hardly worth recommending to anyone.
Fuzion Frenzy 2 was never asked for and if there’s ever plans for a third edition the game will need a complete gutting before it can be stitched into something that people will want to play.
Read Full Review >Hardcore Gamer Magazine
Party games are supposed to contain playable sequences that are instantly accessible, engaging, and fun. In Fuzion Frenzy 2, there are precious few that fit that bill. [Apr 2007, p.56]
Worth Playing
Decent mini-games can only go so far to fix a broken main game, terrible art design, and voice acting that even a patient fan of low-quality acting can't handle.
Read Full Review >360 Gamer Magazine UK
Sadly, Fuzion Frenzy 2 gets so carried away with enhancements and tricks, that it loses sight of what made the original work in the first place. A real waste. [Issue #23, p.71]
G4 TV
The best thing about Fuzion Frenzy 2 is that it’s an easy 1,000 achievement points (there are only 16 different tasks, and most of those are to play through a tournament with each player).
Fans of the original Fuzion Frenzy and other party games may want to give this a rent. Everyone else will probably take part in a contest to see who can return it to the game store the fastest.
I honestly think Fuzion Frenzy 2 would be better served over the Xbox Live Marketplace as an Arcade title, then a full disc release.
Read Full Review >Games Radar (in-house)
Trust us. Cheaper, deeper stuff than this can be bought on Xbox Live Arcade. Unless you're truly desperate for an old-school party game experience, or you plan to be so drunk that anything will amuse you, we suggest you save your money for something else.

Could the Xbox 360 use a fun and frantic throwback partier? Sure. But this mess isn't it. [Mar 2007, p.82]
Electronic Gaming Monthly
You absolutely need more than one (perhaps two) friends to get past the game's flaws: bland menus, a ridiculously annoying announcer, and less than 50 minigames that get old fast. [Mar 2007, p.88]
PALGN
Fuzion Frenzy 2 is intolerable in single player and is okay in multiplayer, even at a budget price the game doesn't come recommended.

If ever there was a game that needed to sort the wheat from the chaff, and then add a mammoth box of wheat to the resulting tiny pile, Fuzion Frenzy 2 was it.
Quite simply, it’s a very early contender for worst game of 2007, and a game this bad will be etched into every fibre of my being right up until December I’m sure.
It's a sub-par offering in almost every respect, chock full of insipid, charmless, half-baked zero-fun games that would embarrass a start-up indie studio.
The only good that this game serves is that it keeps Fuzion Frenzy’s legacy of being synonymous with “bad game” alive for another generation. Even if Microsoft offers it as a five dollar download on Xbox Live Arcade, pass on it – unless, of course, you collect Worst Games of the Year.

Everything about this game smacks of a half-arsed Xbox Live Arcade title that's blundered into the full retail schedule by accident. [Apr 2007, p.93]
X360 Magazine UK
Poor mini-games mixed with horrible controls and the worst 'host' ever - the best way to describe Fuzion Frenzy 2. [Issue 18, p.95]
games(TM)
Every single component of this detestable mess is aggravating enough to put you off gaming for life. [Apr 2007, p.102]

Jake H. gave it a0:
Absolutely terrible. this game makes me want to stab myself in the neck, be reborn, and blow my face in with a shotgun. the announcer is the biggest loser ive ever seen in my life. the mandatory black person is totally homosexual as are the two girls in this game there is the mandatory queer with emo hair and then there is no minigame worth playing at all the control is terrible and this is without a doubt the worst game ive ever played.
sam m gave it a5:
As a single player experience there is a lot more fun to be found elsewhere on the 360( although younger players may enjoy the game) The game really is based around it's multi-player section. whether it be online or local based multi-player there can be some fun to be gained. There are not many games on the 360 that let the whole family play together and should be applauded for doing so. The mini-games are varied and are a mixture of good to some pretty poor ones, And the on screen host is one of the most annoying game characters you will come across, And the time that it takes from one mini-game to the next is another problem the game forces upon us .
Bob B. gave it a0:
Everything about this sucks... from the awful soundtrack to the repetitive and crap mini-games, to the worst announcer/host in history (I'm not kidding), there is no point picking it up, even if you get it pre-owned like I did.
Hayley K gave it a2:
Loved the mini games we were able to download from Xbox but the actual disc game is terrible. Unresponsive controllers, long delays between the games, annoying announcer. Absolutely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Connor D. gave it a4:
Easy gamerscore to be gained here but all of the min games are dull and too short and the voice acting is terrible once u have the GS you wont go back on it.
Kelsey A. gave it a0:
The first game was soo much better. this one is useless they ruined a perfectly good game get the original one for 9 used at eb games its worth it.
Bryan M. gave it a7:
i love this game. but if you have no friends then don't even bother geting it. the announcer in this game is worse then the king and Jr in WWE games.
