Summary
Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal is an action-adventure game featuring seven playable Looney Tunes characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tazmanian Devil, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Gossamer and a special secret character, all rendered in high-definition, next-generation graphics. Engaging in one or two player cooperative gameplay, gamers find themselves immersed in fast-paced combat, puzzle solving challenges and vehicle-based action in rich environments inspired by the popular, outlandish cartoon tales. Players command an arsenal of ACME melee and projectile weapons in outrageous battles and travel to various locations such as Camelot, Ancient Egypt, Mars, the Wild West, the trenches of World War II and more. The Xbox 360 version allows players to fully utilize real-time physics and animation blending and Xbox Live online entertainment network will allow for two player cooperative game play. [Warner Bros. Play Magazine
The important things is that the Looney Tunes are back in a game that does the namesake complete justice. [Oct 2007, p.84]
GamePro
The gameplay boils down to a simplistic mix of platform jumping and enemy bashing, with a good dose of item collection thrown in. It won't tax your reflexes or your brain, which is why the game is perfect for younger gamers; players who grew up with the cartoons, as I did, will also experience a nice feeling of nostalgia as they play.

Moderately challenging and entertaining, Acme Arsenal is nevertheless far from memorable. [Nov 2007, p.99]
DailyGame
Poor execution, no real personality and identical gameplay across multiple characters squash the fun factor like a 50-ton Acme anvil.

Take away the familiarity of the Looney Tunes license, and Acme Assault is little more than another generic platform game that does just enough right to be okay, but not enough to stand out. Even with the license, the developers just didn't seem to use it to its fullest potential.

Cheap or not, this has nothing to recommend it, bar morbid curiosity. [Jan 2008, p.83]
AceGamez
Looney Tunes: ACME Arsenal is just a slightly below average platformer hiding behind a powerful licence.

The biggest problem with Acme Arsenal is that it doesn’t contain an inkling of the depth on display in the classic cartoons its levels attempt to emulate.

Now perhaps I’m just getting too old for this stuff, but it seemed to me that these guys aren’t as funny as they once were.

Dull, repetitive, and carelessly programmed don't even begin to sum up how crummy this action game based on the Looney Tunes license is.

As I mentioned above, the camera is just plain terrible and is a major drawback to the controls because they give you the ability to steer it. Only it does not do what it is told; most times it will not do anything at all leaving you unable to see where you are supposed to jump.

Aside from unlocking Achievements, it has no redeeming value, and that's all, folks.

Next to sharing the screen with Michael Jordan, this game has to be the low point in Bugs Bunny's career. [Dec 2007, p.140]
1UP
There's simply nothing redeeming about Acme Arsenal. It's an incredibly poor, woefully unentertaining use of a great license, and an absolute bore to play. It doesn't get nearly enough right to be anywhere close to average, and becomes its own worst enemy with a cavalcade of embarrassing glitches.

Eric E. gave it a3:
The game is difficult to control, and the acme weapons do so little that it may as well just be a melee game. The most annoying thing in the whole game is the camera, which gets constantly stuck behind obstacles and refuses to look where you try to point it, making falling off ledges the most common event in the game.
Glenn W. gave it a2:
Graphics of the game remind me more of a ps1/ps2 game, and the game mechanics are clunky.
