Take away the violence, ribald humor and salty language, and 800 Bullets is actually a touching tale about family, love and honor.
Has funny moments, but it also has a lot of drag time.
An acid-dipped valentine to the sometimes seedy magic of movies.
Though the high-noon climax drags somewhat, Álex de la Iglesia's charming comedy celebrates the resilient power of dreams, memories, and the movies.
Entirely too well-behaved.
It thinks it's cute, but it's as charming as an old drunk going on about how he knew Eastwood back in the day.
