What Addicted To Fame lacks in nuance, it makes up for in insight and honesty.
"Addicted" proves a strangely sad yet wildly compelling cautionary tale.
Just like "Illegal Aliens," Addicted To Love is an exploitation movie, albeit one without even the science-fiction spoof's sunny, dumbass innocence.
The cinematic equivalent of staging a disaster and then bitching about the mess.
The title Addicted to Fame hints that Giancola knows enough to count himself among the hooked. But the crappiness of this documentary about a crappy parody of a crappy B movie suggests that he hasn't kicked the habit.
