    What a difficult but rewarding film. Juliette Binoche once again unbderplays and steals the film. Téchiné's story at first seems odd and disjointed, but read between the lines and you will discover the real complexities of this great movie.

    A grim but affecting movie about alienated youth who finds a measure of inner peace thru the healing power of love. It's at its best when depicting a life of loneliness on the run. Of not only physical deadends but psychological barriers one can't escape nor overcome. Excellent performances.
