EricY.Jun 3, 20060Is the temperature of the sun constant? No. The sun is the cause of global warming. What a joke.
-
-
NealA.Jun 3, 20069Incredibly, Al Gore is breathtakingly interesting as he tells the potentially greatest horror story since the dark ages, the ice age and the Holocost all put together.
-
-
KenG.Jul 7, 20067You might not be able to follow everyone of Gore's points, but you get the gist of it all, and Gore's passion and sincereity come through loudly, and carry the movie. Gore comes across as funny, smooth, charming, passionate, sincere, highly intelligent, and charismic. Where the hell was this guy in 2000.

MargiJ.Jul 9, 200610This movie is imperative; the word must get out. Thank you, Al Gore.

AnthonyM.Jun 30, 20069Probably a "5" as a piece of cinematic art. But a "10+" for its ability to bring a critical issue to mass audiences. Absolutely a must-see.

LeeF.Jun 4, 200610Just go see it -- it's worth every minute. And I promise you won't be bored unless you're braindead.

-
NickM.Dec 9, 20060There are two sides to every story, and gore did not come close to presenting the other one. the points he makes are deceptive, and his credibility is low.

MelykA.Jul 30, 20062The material was far-flung (at its most truthful) and the little emotional glimpses of Gore writing, or contemplating, or staring out a window were regurgatory. Destined to become a camp classic, or a cult fave for its kitsch. Bleh!
-
-
HillaryC.Nov 20, 20062As liberal propaganda goes, it's no very entertaining. Furthermore, Al Gore makes a very serious mistake when he tries to blame global warming on man. The fact of the matter is that there is very little evidence that global warming is man made, and much more evidence that global warming is cyclical - occurring about ever 1500 years.
-
-
MikeR.Oct 28, 20070A convenient lie, absolutely no basis in fact, a fallacy.
-
-
MattFJul 18, 20080FIlled with errors and half truths, it's no wonder the mainstream media loved it. So why is Gore riding around in chartered mega-jets and traveling in 4 car caravans? If he beleived his own material, he would have moved in with the Amish long ago!

AdamAAug 15, 20084This documentary is well made, but horribly written. When I want to hear science, I have to sit through Al Gore's life story. I didn't want an autobiography, but that's what I got. Key details where left out which made me wondering. The documentary was completely biased and vain. I say kudos, however, to the director, who is quite talented at getting a point across.

tilbrookJun 2, 20069Phil Hall and Kyle Smith have some obvious issues. Taking sides on this for political reasons is assanine and obviously what is at work here. This movie is no Chicken Little, and yes Phil & Kyle, your 10mpg SUV's do have consequences we all suffer from.

LindaL.Jan 28, 20073It's as if a time-warp transport has put you back into a boring lecture from your first year of college -- this time interspersed with touchy-feely vignettes meant to make you adore your professor personally. Some of the information really is compelling, but it lacks context -- especially, it lacks any serious debate with scientists who disagree with Gore on what global warming trends mean.
-
-
BitBurnFeb 19, 200710Phil Hall of Film Threat is a stupid moron for bashing on and thrashing such an alarming film about global warming. Hard to believe that one would take advantage of negatively criticizing a film like that is such a critical time for mankind. Mr.Hall, you jerk, your ego is bigger than what

-
KD.Apr 8, 20074There was an over use of scare tactics in this documentary. Gore draws conclusions based on common sense, not scientific proof.

JustinS.Jun 15, 20069Great movie that everyone needs to see. Hopefiully this will wake people up to the need to do something about global warming. Would be a educational tool. There seemed to be a little too much digression into Al Gore's life, though and too much of the stuff seemed not to be cited properly or the source information was too hard to see.

NathanM.May 28, 200610A must-see movie. Whoever disregards this movie as political speech is far more guilty of politicizing than Al Gore. Yeah, Al Gore ain't the most charismatic man on the planet, but this movie deals in facts, and is shockingly relevent to all of us.

May 20, 201210Amazing how stupid some people are...
Global warming is important..
Al Gore shows the inconvenient Truth.... -
Nov 28, 20127Despite the recent developments seemingly debunking the points it raises, "An Inconvenient Truth" is - without a doubt - still a good film.
-
0An Inconvenient Truth is something you rarely see in movies today: a blatant intellectual fraud. Shame on all of the people involved in this travesty.
-
50The documentary is an act of political activism. Guggenheim and his politically conscious producers, Laurie David, Lawrence Bender and Scott Z. Burns, have no interest in either challenging Gore's viewpoint or giving opposing opinions equal time. The film is simply a conduit for Gore's message.
-
60A straightforward record of the lecture Gore has toured for years, juiced by elaborate graphics. An excellent educational tool, picture may prove an awkward fit for theatrical distribution.
