Bad Blood is not your average gory horror movie. It gets you into the story first and then has you at the edge of your seat with its intense and grotesque special effects. This body horror film takes you on a slimy, bloody, and freaky ride with an amphibious twist. I’ve never seen a horror movie like this, and I think it’s the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit.

Bad Blood is impressive in many ways. For starters, the camera has a language of its own, telling the story from the third person perception and taking the movie’s horror thematic to a whole new level. Also, the direction is clever, some characters are creepy and some just balance the film by being slightly funny. Lastly, the incredible editing and music selection give Bad Blood the final touch to be the best horror movie it can be. Recommended if you are looking for something new, different, and brilliant!

What’s a horror movie without excessive amounts of blood, gore and gruesome bodily harm? Bad blood shows this and more with its excellent special effects and classic horror scenes that give justice to monster movie classics. Director Tim Reis does a fantastic job of keeping the film organized and interesting. Highly recommended, enjoy!

If you’re looking for a new creepy, intense horror movie, Bad Blood is the film for you! Bad Blood exceeded my expectations and left me pleasantly surprised. The concept was one that I had not seen before, and the costume design was equally unique as well. My favorite part of the film was the relatability of its main character, Victoria. Victoria was back home taking a break from college, but she couldn’t quite catch a break from her parents. The struggles that Victoria faced at home all come to a head after she is transformed into an amphibious monster. Bad Blood was thrilling and extremely fun to watch. I’d definitely recommend for any sci-fi or horror movie fans.

Bad Blood was an awesome indie jump-scare froggy tale! It was much more intense and vulgar than I expected. It was very interesting how director Tim Reis used the classic human turning into a werewolf story, but with an "amphibious" twist. I loved it’s grotesque nature and how graphic it was--you can have more freedom with independents-- and the special effects were superb (everything looked extremely believable)! Overall, I would recommend this awesome movie a watch!

Bad Blood is the new age monster movie I never knew I wanted. It features Victoria (Maria Mallory), the most unlucky girl in the world, who is attacked and infected with were-frog syndrome. Her transformation is a feat of costume design with the monster looking so real you want to look away from it in horror. Likewise, the special effects department is on their A-game with plenty of gross out blood splattered moments that made me feel like I should be carrying an umbrella. It’s my new go to movie for my Halloween party.
